Thanks for the dancing everyone! I'm hoping to get another update up by the end of the weekend...I have to work from home this week on actual work, then I have to go into the office again on Friday. Plus my FIL had minor surgery this week so we're going to visit today/tonight.

FIL is recovering nicely....really tired and uncomfortable but not surprising.

Well I didn't manage to post this weekend...it's DH's birthday tomorrow so I was busy with stuff for him.

Hopefully I get to it when Peanut takes a nap today.

I got DS's party invites done for his 1st birthday today...finally! I'll post pictures later tonight. And I figured out how to make it a Disney theme party after all....more on that later.

Yes I think he did...as one of his b-day gifts I cleaned out his car...vacuum...windows...dash...new floor mats.....he really liked that surprise.

So you all know that I decided on a jungle theme for DS's first birthday party.
I'm making a lion, a panda and a giraffe cakes and I'm planning on getting some blow up plastic animals from Oriental Trading company (note to self to order those asap). Here's where Disney comes in....it was really bothering me that all these animals do not live in the jungle...some live on the plains of Africa. I know this because I love AK, and love looking at all the animals....we spend quite a bit of time animal watching while we are at AK. So that naturally lead me to change the theme of the party to ANIMAL KINGDOM !

Here is the invite....

On the cover the green grass is 3D...I cut it out of paper and glued it on.....the animals are stickers.
