Peeps, restrooms and drunks. A hot, sweaty Asian TR=Feb 08-4/27-Okay folks.....

Nope...not Richard Marx...Bryan Adams...written in 1991...spent several consecutive weeks on the charts...here's the opening refrain:

Everything I Do
I Do It For You
Look into your heart
You will find
There`s nothing there to hide
Take me as I am
Take my life
would give it all
I would sacrifice
Don`t tell me it`s not worth fighting for
I can`t help it
There`s nothing I want more
You know it`s true

I'm too competitive and even verified on the Internet. :thumbsup2 Not to mention as a teenager, I belted both those songs at the top of my lungs on many an occassion.

Here are the opening lyrics to Right Here Waiting...similar but not the same...

Oceans apart day after day
And I slowly go insane
I hear your voice on the line
But it doesnt stop the pain

If I see you next to never
How can we say forever

Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you

:cheer2: GO GIRL!!!!!:cheer2:

Chapter 35. Tuesday, February 5th. Day 6. Part 5. A meltdown.

So when I last left you. We had just finished the Maharajah Jungle Trek and as evidenced by the picture of me on the bench, I was more than ready to go back to the room.....

As we walked to the exit of Asia, we noticed a crowd of people. Hmmm....what's going on?

It's a bit past 4pm........it's the Jammin Jungle Parade of course.:headache:

If you've read any of my PTR, you know I am NOT a parade type of guy. Not that I bag on anyone who is into them. I'm just not into them myself.

Of course, RoboJo's friends want to stay and watch the parade. I know Derek wants to go back to the room by the look on his face. Kim and I aren't thrilled. But if you know the Japanese culture, we don't like to make waves even if it means inconveniencing ourselves. So we stick around.....

So here's my meltdown.........in my head:

" I can't believe I have to sit here and watch this stupid parade."

"Don't they know that I ate Onion Rings for lunch? I'm ready to explode. Quick someone find me a Depends..."

"Do they know how much angst they caused me with all the ADR changing before the trip...and all for nothing!!!!"

"I'm hot."

"I'm sweaty."

"I'm stinky."

"I'm tired."

Well...we stayed and watched the parade....I got off some shots:

LOOK!!! Mickey's a DISer!!!! He's sportin' his Lime Green....Props.
wdwfeb2008205.jpg

After the parade, I caught a pix of RoboJo and her friends:
wdwfeb2008207.jpg

We went our separate ways......

Joshie, Robo, Baby J, Kim, Derek, Dylan and I trucked to the entrance and caught the bus back to BCV. We had good bus mojo both coming and going. No wait...at all......sweeeet.

Once we got back to the room, we all crashed.

Here's Kim and a long lost friend:

Jordan - you crack me up! I hope you enjoyed the parade at least a little bit! Love the meltdown in your head! And the last picture...:scared:

"Don't they know that I ate Onion Rings for lunch? I'm ready to explode. Quick someone find me a Depends..."
:rotfl2: :lmao: I almost fell off the chair reading this.

glad u made it back to the room.

I never saw the parade at AK, I do want to next time.

Great pics.

Hey Jordan,

Not a parade person myself. :headache:

BTW, ever think of writing something other than a TR and sermon?

Well worth the short wait for your update!
Stay away from those onions!
Our cultures couldn't be more opposite, I'm a very opinionated Italian, Irish, American Indian mix! :rotfl:
If I don't like it, you will know.
I saw the Ak parade in 1998. If it hasn't changed, I don't need to see it again.

I never would have been able to keep that all inside...it would have been like a nuclear plant meltdown. :)

LOOK!!! Mickey's a DISer!!!! He's sportin' his Lime Green....Props.
wdwfeb2008205.jpg

Well...duh...of course, he is (channeling of my 10-year-old). :rotfl:

Here's Kim and a long lost friend:
wdwfeb2008211.jpg

Go to sleep...go to sleep...go to sleep, Kim and Flat Winkers...

Here's me and how I was feeling all day after eating the Onion Rings:
wdwfeb2008212.jpg

I know that feeling! Onions have the same effect on me, but I cannot resist their siren call!

It's a bit past 4pm........it's the Jammin Jungle Parade of course.:headache:

I hate getting stuck in a parade. :made:

If you've read any of my PTR, you know I am NOT a parade type of guy. Not that I bag on anyone who is into them. I'm just not into them myself.

I think it's just me and you bro. Everyone else loves them. :headache:

But if you know the Japanese culture, we don't like to make waves even if it means inconveniencing ourselves. So we stick around.....

Buzzman culture is different. If I'm inconvenienced, I drink more beer. :drinking:

We all need a good meltdown. Your's was similar to the ones I have just prior to going to church. :confused3

Seems to be a lot of pictures with you and your tongue. Japanese culture? popcorn::

Loved the update! I skipped the parades EXCEPT Spectro this trip too, but I'm sure next year with the gang we will be doing them!!

The diatribe in your head made me laugh! I have never seen the AK parade and never had a desire to do so...I do enjoy the MK parade, but I'm ready for a new one.

hi, jordan! i've seen you over on winkers' TR and i decided to join in on your fun, too! i gotta say....i love how organized your TR is. :thumbsup2

i'm just starting with my reading so i'm WAY behind, but i'm looking forward to catching up. :surfweb:

These two pics made me laugh.
I like the parade but the rest of my family doesn't.
Best parade to view is the night time parade at MK on top of Splash Mountain.
Only get to see it for a little bit, but it's breath taking.:thumbsup2

We are parade people and would have stayed too:goodvibes

You know when my 4 year old has a meltdown like that he gets a time out...just sayin:rolleyes1
