the most expensive Souvenir you bought for.......

My husband bought me this at the MK for our anniversary:

I got a BEAUTIFUL pair of mikimoto pearl earrings from their little jewelry counter at the Japan pavillion... Exquisite. They were not THAT expensive... Just little ones...

I haven't gone yet, and it's not FROM Disney, but I guarantee you the most expensive thing from our trip will be a plane ticket. They were $400 each! Next in line would be a park ticket! LOL! I probably won't buy anything on my trip since I'll spend so much on pictures and albums when I return, to me that's my souvie. But ya never know!

Another sucker for the big figurine here. We bought the Mickey Salutes America one. We love it, close to 2 feet tall with the big flag behind him. I thought it was $175 (cheaper than I expected) and then we got 10% off.

I've gotten at least two of the crystal hologram things in Germany for $80/each. I know I got a Walt and a Goofy that were that price.

DH bought me a beautiful Skagen Mickey watch!! I think it was around $125.
:lovestruc He is a keeper!

Mrs. Disney Ron

i get a glass rose every trip. i think the last one i got was $45-50...
but i also got a belt from Rock n Roller Coaster that was $30something

I get a bottle of Laila perfume from Norway every trip. I think it's priced at about $75.00 per bottle now. That is always my little treat.

I always buy a Christmas ornament and a crazy silly hat:crazy: from WDW. Then I go to the outlets and buy a Coach bag, or two, or three. I can't help myself.:goodvibes

I'm cheap and I didn't buy a single souvie last trip. DH spent $20 on camera batteries, but that doesn't count...

He also bought pins & lanyards for our nieces who were with us.

last of the big spenders...

I usually buy small, inexpensive souvies (or the edible ones -- like rice crispy mickey heads!) ... but on our anniversary I did pick a pearl at the Japanese pavilion and had it set in a white gold/diamond speck (ha ha) ring setting. I believe it was about $190 ... and I can't remember if that was with the $13.95 pearl pick or not. Anyway ... I love it and it was worth every penny. When I wear it, even the pearl reminds me of EPCOT (you know like Spaceship Earth!). We ate at Le Cellier .... saw Illuminations for the first time ................... whoops ... for a moment I think I transported myself thru time and space to WDW!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Around 40$ brown messenger bag with mickey on it.

Or...my WDW Hoodie. I can't remember how much it was though.

Snwflkcats (hope I got that right)...

Your above post indicates you bought EXACTLY the right souvenir for yourself...the perfect souvenir (no matter the cost!!) instantly transports you back to WDW in your heart...

I think the perfect thing is different for everyone.

I was "dreamed" with my perfect souvenir during my DLR trip last May--dream ears--they sit on my desk, and DAILY I feel like I'm back there again, eating a dole whip...

**Here's hoping I find exactly the right souvenir during my WDW trip in May...so I can teleport myself to the world all year long!!! :cloud9:

Around $350 for my original Pooh and Tigger drawing. My nephew and I went into the Art of Disney. I had warned him not to touch anything. He saw me admiring the sketch, went over to a cast member, and said, "Aunties needs to have that picture. Can you send it to her house?" Before I could say anything, he said to me, "You will be really sad if you don't buy it. I can tell you really like it. I will give you the rest of my Disney Dollars (he probably had about $30 left)." As we were leaving, he grinned and said, "It is fun to shop without touching anything."

$225 for a Mickey Mouse Citizen Eco-drive watch and then later that trip $175 for the Stormtrooper Donals Big-Fig.

... this little guy....

He cost 200.00 something - I can't recall the exact cost... but more than I really needed to be spending on myself.

A couple of the animation cells (250-450 a piece). Countless hoodies and snowglobes over the years. SWW watch (95.00). The watch was a gift from a friend though....
