CrockPot died..need new one. Recommendations? Kitchen Aid?

Hello! My beloved crockpot, which my mom gave to me when I moved out about 25 years ago, has died. I am now on the market for a new one. I am a big crock pot user so I don't mind splurging a bit for quality (bonus is coming!). I'm wondering about the Kitchen Aid crockpot...anyone have it? Do you love it? Anyone else have a crockpot (any brand) that they absolutely love?

I have the All-Clad with the insert that you can use on the stovetop as well. They make 2-one with a ceramic insert, and the other type I have. It is quite pricey, (~$250) but to me worth every penny. It does a fantastic job on everything I have used it for so far, and for stews and such it is nice being able to brown the meat right in the crock pot on the stove top.

I purchased mine at Williams-Sonoma.

If you are talking about the kitchenaid 7 qt slow cooker, I have had mine for a year. I bought it off of cooking.com with codes and through ebates. I LOVE it, but I did have one problem with it. It cracked on the bottom (such a little crack I did not even notice it, since it was on the outside bottom). When I went to clean it, I picked it up and the metal part had black food inside, it had slowly leaked through. I called Kitchenaid and they immediately sent a new one out free, and arranged to pick up my old one 3 days after I received my new one. GREAT customer service. I was so impressed with their customer service, I also bought my new oven from them in September.

I have that one as well! I like it quite a bit. I bought it at Target this year to replace my old one which was:

and actually found it on the counter leaking dinner everywhere because there was a portion of the pottery missing from the bottom. I don't recommend that one!

It appears to be the same as one of the HB models, just a different name plate. I had a Versware, which I liked but I droped and broke the lid. However, that one had a lip on the bowl that was hard to clean. The only thing I dont like about the Sears, and probably all of them, if there is a power outage it shuts down, and stays shut off when the power comes back on. Do any have a back up mode?

we have that one too!! LOOOOVE IT!! a friend has it with a two sided insert....I love hers also.

My mother has the hamiltion beach crockpot with the three different size bowls, she loves it. I've also played around with it and love that you can use whichever size bowl you need for a particular dish. She also has the Wolfgang Puck "cafe" crockpot which she loves (and has been a great item since she uses it all the time).

I don't use them for two reasons, one they don't fit my 7qt crockpot properly. I also prefer not to cook in plastic (allergy issues).

I got this one for Christmas and love it. It is so nice to have one exactly the size I need without 3 different appliances.

I have a Hamilton Beach that is programable. Had to replace the Rival I had as it cooked way to hot. This one works great.

Love my crockpot. I have a Rival smartpot... Main thing I like about it? It has a timer on it so you can set it to cook on low for 8-10 hours and high for 4-6 hours and then set itself to warm. Allows me to stick stuff in the CP and leave for work (12 hour shifts) and it won't dry out or get overcooked... just be warm for me when I get home!
