OMG!!! I just booked a quick trip...please tell me I'm not NUTS!

Hi to all! I have the WDW bug soooo bad! I got an email from delta on great rates for the end of Jan/early Feb-so, being disney-curious I played around with some dates-while looking @ DH's work schedule. Well-Well I said to myself he's off 1/31-2/4 and we still have 3 days tix-non expiring left! So while I had those plane tix in limbo- I called WDW and they had a std view at the yacht club for 2/1-2/4. So I grabbed it! Our flight doesn't get in till midnite- I figure we can stay at the Hyatt in the airport;or I can keep calling back to add that 1st nite! So-I still have to tell DH-but I am beyond excited!!! I need to get out of this cold and gloomy gray weather -even if for only 4 days!! Another diss'er in need of a support group....

hey frankiesmom, I'm from Rochester too. I know just what you mean about escaping this gloomy winter. You made the right choice! You'll have a blast. Sometimes the last minute trips are the most fun.

That's what I was thinking! For us, 4 days is a normal trip...I'd absolutely love to stay a lot longer!!

Hi. I am from Auburn not to far from Rochester and been searching for great prices and what not for a Disney Vacation. I wish I could find some great prices. I never have luck. I agree this cold is for the birds and this weekend doesn't look good weather wise either.

I did the samething! Jan 31st-Feb 4th for me at the AKL Villas! planned it last week!

We did the same thing too! Well, my mom did. She surprised us with a trip to WDW 1/31-2/3 for my daughter's 4th birthday. We'll be at the Yacht Club with you!

I did the same thing. My daughter is in the college program this semester working on Space Mountain. I am going 2/1-2/4 for her birthday. Staying at AKL. I haven't been in over 2 years. I am so excited

DS and I did a weekend trip for the Expedition Everest preview, which fell in January. We LOVED it and it was a great escape from the cold northeast winter.

No way you're nuts! I do the same thing all the time. I'm down in New Smyrna Beach this week for work, and I extended my stay so I could hop over to the parks just for one day! I love last min. sneak attack Disney trips. I hope your husband is thrilled.

I did the same thing. I booked us on the 11th leaving on the 26th of Jan. We decided to have some fun with a bit of our tax refund.

Wow, how nice! I know what you mean about the gloomy weather. I'm in Philly and I just returned from WDW on Saturday, and miss it tons. I'm going back to Naples, FL on Sunday for a week for a family wedding, so I plan to work on my tan haha as there's not much else to do there I've heard. I'm still giddy when looking at the flip-flop tan lines from last week! Enjoy!!
