Cont... Sunday Oct 21... Day 2... Key West

We slept in a little. It was a late night last night. Got up at 8:15 for breakfast at Topsiders. Saw our dis friends Cass & Rob with Baby Kira. We really used that little cutie to get our baby fix all week. We have a 1 yr old grandaughter.

After breakfast...Went back and organized our stateroom, then headed out for Key West.

Took the Conch Train with diser friends Walt & Di. One piece of advice, make sure you bring a bottle of water with you. I don't know what I was thinking... I've been to Fla. enough times to know better. It was a nice tour though.

We then walked around. Walt was scoping out the key lime pie. mmmmmm

It was the funniest thing, we were walking around shopping at Clinton Square Market and we hear someone say... "I see you're not wearing your lipstick today." We turned around... It was a complete stranger who was obviously at Rockin Bar D the night before.

I saw this sign and said... Mike, are you "sponge worthy"? Sorry... bad Seinfield joke.

After our little shopping excursion, we headed back to the ship.

Home again.

Back for a swim before dinner at Parrot Cay.

Plankton joined us for dinner.

And of course, I had to show our servers, Leesa and Laura the video from Rockin Bar D.

After dinner, we went to the show... Michael Harrison. He was good, but his adult show in Rockin Bar D the next night was much better. If you didn't go, "you missed the dancing penguins"

Back to Rockin Bar D for some music and dancing. Fun time!!!!

We just don't know how to relax.

Sweet Tart, that was a fabulous Seinfeld episode (my fav was "The Dingo ate your Baby" episode ) and a great update.

Yes, Key West was hot, hot, hot wasn't it? We walked to and from the Southernmost Point and I thought I would melt.

Keep up the good job. I'm constantly looking for the updates girl.

Cont... Day 3, Monday, October 22

(I failed to mention that 20 of us disers decided to play a little dis tag. The idea was to fill a little bag with novelties from your state or country. We each had a list of the disers. When we received a dis bag at our door, we would deliver one to the next person on our list. You had to do it without getting caught.)

We were up at 7:30. Mike went up to deck 10 to shoot hoops. Fellow disers, Chuck & Tony came out for a little while. I met Mike for breakfast at Topsiders.. mmmmmmm, oatmeal. I can't believe I had access to all that breakfast food and all I ate was oatmeal and a piece of toast.

All of us disers met at Sessions at 10:30 and took a group pic. You should have seen all the cameras lined up. It was pretty funny.


This pic of our group was one I copied from another diser. Don't remember who's it was, but it turned out better than mine... I think it's Rose's. Thanks!

Many of the disers then went to the wine tasting. Those of us who don't drink wine had a strawberry smoothie meet. We met in Quiet Cove. Although, it wasn't very quiet when we got there. oops. We had a great time though.

Did a little shopping... bought some jewelry, then decided to hit the pool. Went back to the room to change. What was waiting for us at the door? A dis tag bag. We now had to deliver one of our bags. We went into our room to see who was next on our list. Crap deck 6... again. I swear most of you disers were on deck 6. We were in the dungeon on deck 2. It usually took too long to wait for the elevator, so we always used the stairs. I think we climbed those stairs 25 times delivering to deck 6.

Really, we had a great time doing it. It was always a joke for us because we no sooner got done delivering one to deck 6, we'd get back to our room and there would be another one waiting for us. And then it was back to deck 6 again.

After swimming, we went to AP for dinner. It was formal night. Celebrated our 32nd anniversay with a cake. Walt & Di bought us a crystal Mickey. It was a perfect gift. Thanks guys.

After dinner, we went to the show. Then on to.......

Yep... Rockin Bar D....Walt & Di were dancing up a storm.

I think I'm going to get him some dance lessons before the KK2 reunion cruise.

We headed back to the room. Another late night. But we set the clocks back for Grand Cayman. Yes, and extra hour of sleep. We're getting up at 5:30 am. We have an early excursion tomorrow.


Well, we're coming up to the funny part... where Robin freaks out.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Turkey Day. Our dd was home for the holidays. We've had a great bonding weekend. She returns home tomorrow.

One thing I forgot to add from Day 3...
Mike, one of our diser friend had gone to Palo. Palo had designed an anniversay plate with food for them. They showed "my Mike" the pic of it. So "Not to be out done", my Mike had to design his own.

Cont... Disney Cruise, Day 4,Grand Cayman.

Mickey woke us up at 5:30 AM. We're going snorkeling, then swimming with the stingrays. So off topsiders for breakfast.

They tendered us in to Grand Cayman. It poured while we were boarding the tendering boat. But all in all, it was a nice day. We did get a cloud over us a couple of times.

We went and signed up for our excursion, hopped on a bus with Walt & Di and Rose & Bob, (more diser friends). As you can see, we met a lot of people on the dis boards.

We then took a nice boat ride to the snorkeling area.

As I said. We did get a little rain.

When we booked the excursion, I wasn't really sure about doing the stingrays...

Mike got in the water first. When I got in I totally freaked out. (I'v never freak out about anything.) As soon as I got in, I had 4 stingrays on me. I was practically climbing on Mike's shoulders. I knew they wouldn't hurt me, it was just weird when they rubbed up against me.

When I got used to them and I was so amazed. You look at their faces and they each look different. Each one has it's own personality, (not "personality"). I kissed them for 7 years good luck per kiss. Mike said, "There is no way I'm kissing a stingray" (Kill joy)

I also got a back rub.
(No "personality" remarks KKers.)

It was the greatest experience. I would definitely do it again.

After snorkeling, we did a little shopping and headed back to the ship for a late lunch and a dip in the pool.

You know you've been partying too much when Trent (the MC) and the Band (Elite) recognize you and look for you to sit at your regular table.

Di got up on stage and shook here booty and won a jello shot.

I won a drink doing the electric slide. There was no room left on the DVD camera, so Mike didn't get to record it. Hee hee. (He's got nothing on meeee.) You better learn how to use that camera baby.

Early night tonight... We left Rockin Bar D at midnight.
