Wonder & Magic in Nassau

It looks like both the Disney Wonder and Magic are in Nassau today (I take it that this is due to Noel) - don't they look good together ?

Should the Magic be in Castaway Cay today ? I hope that there hasn't been any damage

Yes the Magic should be in Castaway Cay, but if they evacuated the Castmembers there is no way the island would have been ready today. I am sure the castmembers wouldn't have returned until today.

Thanks for the picture. That's a sight you don't see every day! Yes, the Magic should be at CC today. We just got off the Wonder yesterday. We had debated about doing the Magic this week instead, and it looks like maybe we made a good choice. I'd hate to miss CC. We were there on Tuesday, and the ship left at 2:30 instead of 5:00 so we could get out of the way of Noel. We had a brief rain shower about 11:00, but other than that, it was a nice day on the island! I hope it didn't sustain any significant damage.

I have spoken to friends on the Magic and the Captain announced yesterday that it didnt look like they would make Castaway Cay.

Even though Noel has passed the island, they still expected 50 - 60 mph wind gusts.

It's my understanding that the ships will not dock in those kinds of conditions.

I also understand that during the trip to the islands, there were some very rough seas and now, during the trip back, there having the same conditions.

I was told that the Magic held he own staying steady and that the Castmembers did the usual awesome job.

It looks like the Atlantis web cam must be set up right where our room was last summer when we spent a few days at the Atlantis....it is the exact same view!!!

I bet the CM's like it as well....some of them may get to see some of their other CM friends from the other ship!!!

Last time the Magic and Wonder were seen together was the Thanksgiving Western Cc stop in 2005......and previous was 2000......One of 3 pics since 2000.........AWSOME!

The skies look good. While Nassau is no comparison to Castaway, let's hope that everyone is able to enjoy their day.

So that would be tomorrow, Sat 11/3 aboard the Wonder on the 3 day? So if that is the case, then how do the CM's get the island ready for the passengers if they don't get there until the same time? Maybe there are others that take a boat there early? Or maybe they could take a boat from Nassau today?
