Couldn’t resist posting this in response to the banana dancers. They have some good moves, but they need some scoolin’ from the pros!

Hmmm, I would say that given the description of how it went down I would avoid wearing skirts while flying …they may have been looking for a Marilyn Monroe moment Honestly though your best bet with stuff like that is to be in a conversation with someone – preferably looking like you’re having a good time. I would think they’d be less likely to go after someone actively engaged with another traveler.



Lovely shots, especially the framing and shadowing on the second – and the sepia tone works very well And I just convinced DW to let me buy a new lens – a Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro. It isn’t the best thing out there …not a “pro” glass, but it got good reviews and the price is right And yesterday my new camera backpack came in yesterday – yay!

Oh no!!!! I’m hearing about more and more people getting post-op infections …we had a programmer who is out with one after knee surgery But they just put him on a course of some different antibiotics and he was right as rain.

Post-op infections are painfully common these days. You don't want to hear my rant about the over-use/abuse of antibiotics. It isn't a pretty sight once I get going.

I did forget to mention...last November on our honeymoon in Hawaii, both me AND DH forgot our swimsuits! We had a list! (well..I had a list) but I guess in the excitement of everything going on with the wedding, I didn't double check! We both brought home some souvenirs from Hawaii...swimsuits! (suprisingly mine was only $40 for 3 piece--bikini w/skirt, and his was $15)

Oh! You did good on the swimsuits! Glad to hear that you have all had packing mis-adventures too!

I think I may be doing a bit better but not like I expected to be feeling. I thought after 3 days on antibiotics I should be feeling much better. Oh well, slow and steady, right? I'll get there eventully.

Yeah, I don't even remember where I found those dancers, but they always bring a smile And certainly dream away! Dream big and smile big when they come true!

You're welcome ...and I hear ya about taking pics of the kids. I could have never been a film photographer ...I mean I fill up a GB card with 250+ images and probably use 1/20th of them And the wee ones have a way of not cooperating .......I'm sure you get the 'aw mom' as much as I get the 'aw dad'

I know the situation with the infections ...and am very peeved about what is happening to us as a culture in relation to anti-boitics. Throwing them at every little thing has led to a myriad of 'resistant' infections. I just hope doing a change-up on yours will spank that puppy's backside!

Yeah, I tried all kinds of stuff to make it work and was SOOOO over the limit The funny thing is that now I want to try a star with the squiggly lines ...but I held back 'cause I didn't want to start a fairy dust turf war
