Prince Charming?

I'm just curious, has anyone had their son dress up like prince charming for a character dinner. My DS3 is in love with Cinderella and we have the buffet booked at 1900 Park Faire in October. I think that it would be a cute photo, but I've never been to any character meal and don't know how it all works. Any opinions would be great.

I think it would be great! Just make sure he has comfy shoes and a change of clothes for later. I think the princesses will really make a fuss over a young Prince Charming.

I'm seriously considering getting DS one fo the Edmund Pevensie costumes, from the Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe, so he can be a knight at the Akershus meal we have planned with his girl cousins. They're currently on sale at Disney!

OP -- did you end up with a Prince Charming costume for your DS??

I am trying to come up with a good Prince Charming costume right now for my DS that is 2.5-years-old. Not having any luck at all finding a costume online or buy calling local shops. The closest thing I'm finding are knight costumes, but I really want the prince!

Any suggestions? Has anyone seen these sold at WDW? I would rather get it before we leave, so I can be prepared...

Hi, weschmom. I'm not sure if Disney sells the Prince Charming costume in children's sizes. I have never seen them sold by Disney but maybe there are vintage/used ones out there from years ago. Have you considered a custom? Most times you can get them done depending on the designer for the same price or alittle more $ as the Deluxe costumes by Disney. we went to CRT in July and my son wore the Peter knight costume from Narnia and all the princesses went crazy over him. It was awesome and i got some great shots of the girls trying to kiss his cheeck and him 'pretending' to not like it!

We have been talking about our next trip to Disney (probably in another 2 yrs) and have said that we are going to eat with Princesses. My DD3 informed me that I had to sew her a princess costume and then my DS6 said that I had to sew him a Prince costume! I would love to see the outfits that boys have worn.

We just returned from a Christmas week Land and Sea. While at Magic Kingdom we had lunch at Cinderella's Castle. There were 3 little boys (different families) dressed in Prince Charming costumes - all were different so they must have found them at different costume sites.
Anyway, they were adorable and got so much attention from the princesses. One little boy bowed and kissed their hands.
Everyone oohed and aahed over them.

Thanks! Most people just stare and whisper about whether they are multiples or not. There are the occasions when their customs are commented on but I hardly get approached, mainly because I try not to look into anyone's face/eyes. I learned not to do that at the mall or any public places since I would not get much done. Alot of people want to stand and talk and ask MANY personal questions and the kids get really upset/restless standing in one place especially my son because he is autistic. Most people just guess that the girls are triplets because my son is bigger than them. Very few people who pass by know they are actually quadruplets.

Thanks! Maybe you could do 2 different Princes. My girls all wanted to be Cinderella, so I bought 3 Cinderella costumes (blue ballgowns) at the Disney Store. THEN, I FELL IN LOVE with the Dis Boutique/Customs thread and thought I could do much better. I can not sew, but I knew I could have what I wanted custom done through some designers. So, As the Disney Store costumes STILL hang in the closet with the tags attached, I convinced the girls that 3 different Cinderella dresses were the way to go. That is why in the above picture there is the Blue Ballgown, the Pink "Made by Mice" dress, and the Workdress. With that, I had to coordinate with Prince Charming. My next 2 sets will be Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast. I already have the Briar Rose dress, so I have to get a Pink and Blue ballgowns and of course, Prince Phillip. I also have the Yellow Belle dress, and the blue & white dress, I just need the red Christmas dress and some kind of Beast custom. It is soooo worth it though, the kids love it.

Sure did! My DS dressed up at 1900 Park Faire and he was lovin' it! A bunch of Moms of princesses asked if he would pose with their kids and he was in his glory! He's a little ham. I made him his costume. He looked so stinkin cute! I believe he was 3 or just 4 at the time.

ETA- He also dressed as Prince Eric as well. I made that costume too.
