PhotoPass on Cruise?

I read a few months ago that Disney Cruise Lines is going to have Photopass option. Does anyone know if this has been implimented yet?

In August it wasnt on the Magic.

On our recent Mariner cruise they scanned your key when you had the boarding photo done and from there used a face recognition program to bring your pictures up for you on little terminals when you swiped your card. They did also have the pictures there to hunt through.

I hate the Shutters crowd so Photo Pass would be great.

It may be a rumor but it's one that I hope comes true. With all the requests for it I am sure it is something DCL is considering.

We were on the Wonder 8/19-8/23 and no photopass then. I was really hoping it was true because we were at WDW before and after and it would be great to have them all on the photopass. Hopefully soon! Happy Sailing! Terri

Thanks for the link, MinnieMiss. I thought it was mentioned before that PhotoPass would be onboard by the end of this year!

I'm another fan of this idea - we've used PhotoPass on several occasions at WDW, and plan to use it at Disneyland next year. How great it would be to be able to add our DCL/Disneyland photos to one CD!
