Obviously, I know poly. Does that mean I'm in? In like Flynn (as in Errol, right poly?)
Well, for those of you who don't know me allow me to introduce myself and the rest of the cast and crew.
Babynurse1: My name is EliSabeth. with an S. Just ask Marita. I'm 34 and a babynurse. This means I work as a nurse at a hospital on the postpartum/nursery floor. It does NOT mean I am a highly intelligent, yet freak of nature, baby who is gainfully employed as a nurse. Although, that would make for an interesting read.
More important than being a babynurse I am a wife and mommy. I have 4 rugrats. Dd-14, and ds's-12, 8, and 6. None of whom are going on this trip. YIKES!
Some personal info: I love to travel
to WDW, read
esp. the classics "it was the best of times, it was the worst of times", and enjoy sports
like Colts football, Hoosier basketball, and Reds baseball in particular. We also have 3 horses that I love to ride and I'm always humming, singing, or at the very minimum thinking of a song.
I have had many nicknames on the disboards. Some original: Roxy. Some not: E. My favorites are nursebabe and hotT college chick, b/c who wouldn't love those?
p.s. my middle name is clarify.
My partner in crime:
PrincessJasmine08: Affectionately known as PJ or in my case BabyPJ or Peej. My cell phone says BabyPJ, but I don't think it's her favorite name. None of these are her real name. Her real name is Lauren. This proves slightly problematic when we meet IRL. I will let Baby PJ tell you all you ever wanted to know bout her. I know she's working tonight and then going to a party. B/c she is young. and free of responsibility.
The Token Male:
My hubby: He has earned a few nicknames on this trip. RonStoppable and Mr. Trollop come to mind. Actually Mr. Trollop was earned pre trip (I promise to tie up all these loose ends.) A little about Mr. Trollop. He celebrated his 39th bday while at WDW. He's a hard worker, excellent provider, and goog dad.
His childhood was deprived in that he never took a trip to Disney. His first trip was June 1995 with me, a 23 mo. old, and a 4 mo. old. He "humored" me and went along. Even though it was 110 in the shade and we changed multiple diapers and carted two diaper bags, two strollers, two paci's, two bottles to the park each day, he was still impressed. He was willing to go back (not quite ready to drink the lime green Kool-Aid, but at least willing to go back)
Some background: Dh is the cowboy in the group. I know that was hard to figure out, since he's the token male and all. Anyway, he and the kids compete in rodeos. Ropin' and Ridin'. Cowboys are somewhat more traditional. Their priorities are God, family, and country. In that order. Not to say they can't raise a little heck now and again, b/c believe me they can.
What I'm saying is this: you won't see dh in flip flops and Bermudas. jeans and boots are the preferred wear. On a side note, when dd was at the Ntl. Finals rodeo in NM this July, NONE of the dads wore shorts and/or tennis shoes. Even during non-rodeo time. even when they coached basketball and volleyball teams. Jeans, boots. end of story. don't say you weren't warned.
