Hi. I'm a newbie here. I have read a few TR's, but only at the urging of others. Never, did I think I would be writing one, but there are a couple of things that changed my mind.

1. This is a speedy quick trip to the World. I don't have that much ground to cover (unless you count that day at MGM....)

2. My friend, Princess Jasmine 08, twisted my arm and made me do it. Literally. She's very physical that way. (AK story to follow...)

3. Princess Jasmine 08 agreed to co-write this TR with me. Tag teaming it. Motivating each other to finish. (unlike a certain TR from March that SOMEBODY started.:rolleyes1 )

4. I'll try anything once.(almost anything)

Ok E, step away from the arcade. You can do it. Back away slowly ,then turn and don't look back !!!!!

Now... START WRITING !!!!!!!!

love ya edumacation sister:)

OMGosh, my first poster. Luv you too poly. So glad you're here. I'm trying to stay focused. In fact, my next post is coming up....NOW!

Welcome to the WDW Trip Board. I see you have been around for a year with over 13,000 posts.

Anyway, I saw too you are a baby nuse, what a neat job.

Looking forward to the tag team report and pictures.

Obviously, I know poly. Does that mean I'm in? In like Flynn (as in Errol, right poly?)

Well, for those of you who don't know me allow me to introduce myself and the rest of the cast and crew.

Babynurse1:
My name is EliSabeth. with an S. Just ask Marita. I'm 34 and a babynurse. This means I work as a nurse at a hospital on the postpartum/nursery floor. It does NOT mean I am a highly intelligent, yet freak of nature, baby who is gainfully employed as a nurse. Although, that would make for an interesting read.
More important than being a babynurse I am a wife and mommy. I have 4 rugrats. Dd-14, and ds's-12, 8, and 6. None of whom are going on this trip. YIKES!
Some personal info: I love to travel to WDW, readesp. the classics "it was the best of times, it was the worst of times", and enjoy sports like Colts football, Hoosier basketball, and Reds baseball in particular. We also have 3 horses that I love to ride and I'm always humming, singing, or at the very minimum thinking of a song.
I have had many nicknames on the disboards. Some original: Roxy. Some not: E. My favorites are nursebabe and hotT college chick, b/c who wouldn't love those?:confused3 p.s. my middle name is clarify.

My partner in crime:

PrincessJasmine08:
Affectionately known as PJ or in my case BabyPJ or Peej. My cell phone says BabyPJ, but I don't think it's her favorite name. None of these are her real name. Her real name is Lauren. This proves slightly problematic when we meet IRL. I will let Baby PJ tell you all you ever wanted to know bout her. I know she's working tonight and then going to a party. B/c she is young. and free of responsibility. ;)

The Token Male:

My hubby:
He has earned a few nicknames on this trip. RonStoppable and Mr. Trollop come to mind. Actually Mr. Trollop was earned pre trip (I promise to tie up all these loose ends.) A little about Mr. Trollop. He celebrated his 39th bday while at WDW. He's a hard worker, excellent provider, and goog dad.
His childhood was deprived in that he never took a trip to Disney. His first trip was June 1995 with me, a 23 mo. old, and a 4 mo. old. He "humored" me and went along. Even though it was 110 in the shade and we changed multiple diapers and carted two diaper bags, two strollers, two paci's, two bottles to the park each day, he was still impressed. He was willing to go back (not quite ready to drink the lime green Kool-Aid, but at least willing to go back)
Some background: Dh is the cowboy in the group. I know that was hard to figure out, since he's the token male and all. Anyway, he and the kids compete in rodeos. Ropin' and Ridin'. Cowboys are somewhat more traditional. Their priorities are God, family, and country. In that order. Not to say they can't raise a little heck now and again, b/c believe me they can.:thumbsup2
What I'm saying is this: you won't see dh in flip flops and Bermudas. jeans and boots are the preferred wear. On a side note, when dd was at the Ntl. Finals rodeo in NM this July, NONE of the dads wore shorts and/or tennis shoes. Even during non-rodeo time. even when they coached basketball and volleyball teams. Jeans, boots. end of story. don't say you weren't warned.

The Guest Star:

PJ's sister:
"Hollywood" She works at WDW too. I love her. love her. She told PJ "I know Elisabeth said she had a 14 yr. old dd, but she looks 25. How can that be?" Did I mention that I love her? OH!!! She also said I was really thin. Ummmmm, love her. I'm gonna let PJ tell a little more about her, since she's known her since birth and all.

Special Guest Appearance by:

GoofyDad, KAMommy, and their loverly children, Katie and Adam

We actually met GoofyDad and his family in Knoxville this past May. We had a really nice lunch and went to see POTC 3. Huge coinkydink that they were in WDW the same time as we were. In a nutshell, we crashed their Chef Mickey's breakfast, and we have the pics to prove it.

Yes, as poly mentioned I enjoy the game boards. I've worked hard to break that addiction.

I do love my job! Thank you for the welcome!!

The Jeans are Wrangle's too. I saw my first National Rodeo in LV in Nov. I think it was the finals.

Woohoo for E and the Peanut

:dance3: :cheer2: :dance3:

Let's get this party...er..I mean trippie started :upsidedow

and um...hey...I saw a pic of you and your DH while in WDW (not mentioning any names of who may have sent it to me)

hotT college cowboy is all I'm sayin' :rolleyes1

Can't wait to read all about it

Let me do a brief history or a hx as we say in the medical profession. Explain the hotT college chick name and how Mr. Trollop earned his title.

PJ and I met on a now obsolete thread. I can't recall the exact moment of said meeting, but I do recall thinking "She's 21. I'm 34. What will we possibly have in common?" On that now obsolete thread we were jokingly referred to as trollops. Although IRL, nothing could be further from the truth.:rolleyes1 We also were referred to as trollop triplets (along with a missing comrade). Somehow it was decided that we were ALL 21 yr. old hotT college chicks. Who am I to argue with such a statement?

At first we just said "Hi. How's things?" normal dis chit chat. But then somehow we ended up on MSN chatting one night. And I became her surrogate cybermommy/cybersister. She's such a sweetie and we've had some great late night talks. And some great late night lol's!

PJ made a last minute decision to move to Orlando for the summer with her sister. She landed a job at WDW within the week. One night on MSN, she mentioned some really great deals that were available to employees and their WDW guests. I casually said "wow, wish I could go." and she replied "why don't you?"

The seed was planted. We needed a plan. A plan to convince Mr. Trollop that this is such the goog idea. Never underestimate the power of two determined females. He was no match for our prowess. I gently presented the idea to dh. At first he was like "You want to go meet a 21 yr. old college chick you met on cyberworld? Why?" Little did he know, that my partner in crime was waiting for him on MSN. *insert evil laugh* I told him somebody wanted to talk to him... on the computer.

That part didn't really help my case. Imaginary friends want to talk to him on the computer. He hates computers. "The ruination of modern society" But b/c I'm such a wonderful person he agreed to sit in front of the scary Bill Gates box and "talk" to my newly found baby sister.

PJ began her argument: "Dear Mr. Trollop." That part made him lol. Good one PJ.

"your wife deserves a trip to WDW. She works hard. Takes care of the kids and familiy. Is a kind and loving person. And I really want her to come. Plus as an employee, I can get a huge discount. Huge!!! p.s. you can come too"

Now, who could possibly say no? Plus I bat my eyes and give him the puppy dog look. It was over before it started.

We're going to Disney World....

The Jeans are Wrangle's too. I saw my first National Rodeo in LV in Nov. I think it was the finals.

Wrangler's. yup. The denim of choice around these parts.

Can't wait to read your report. And what girl can't resist a man in cowboy boots??

Hi Sleeping Beauty. Nice to meet you. :goodvibes

Woohoo for E and the Peanut

Bluester!!! I believe I saw a pre-trip report over here. Subscribing now!!!

That's all for tonight. BabyPJ promised to post in the a.m. I'll give her a chance to catch up

.

What's not original about E? HUH????

And clarify? I thought it was The Magnificent SEVEN!

Babycow has a trip report! Woo!
(How can that not be your favorite nickname? I'm hurt! :snooty: )

Subscribing. You know, just on the small chance that something entertaining might have happened during this trip. Plus reading this TR might be the ONLY way I'll ever find out the monkey information since a certain two someones are never on MSN anymore.

Great start! Even if I didn't know anything about this the title would have grabbed my attention.

I am here to heckle, um, er, I mean encourage you.

More scintillating commentary to follow.

Can I be a Hot 21 yr. old college chick too?

Can't wait to read all about your trip, Babycow! (how's THAT for a nick name? I just now made it up...)

Oh, and you keep spelling Good wrong! :rolleyes1
