So I hate to ask a question that has probably been asked like 20 times
but if some of you dont mind What is the cost of a Wishes wedding includng about 75 guests ,WP, Grand floridian reception, disney floral, glass coach, Mk photoshoot, photography, videography, dinner food, Mickey Minnie and Goofy, cake, invitations, airfare, park tickets, hotel, bridal, tax fees, pianist, chair covers, table covers, plated dinner, sash on chairs, floral centerpieces, wedding favors, dj, custom dance floor, tulle, bouquet, pre-reception food, ceremony floral, programs, welcome bags, places cards, thank you notes, custom menus ..... and all of the unnecessary things needed for a custom disney wedding. Knowing me If I were to have a DFTW I would probably be spending my money on the most expensive things! I just want to get an estimate on everything if its not to much to ask.

Thanx!

Wow! That's a lot of extras!! There is a thread somewhere with a bunch of actual wishes/custom budgets posted. But I don't think I've seen one quite as elaborate as this. The WishBook is probably the best place to start to get prices. And then add 6.5% tax to location fees, food, beverages, floral and other decor. A 20% service charge also applies to the food and beverages (and in my case, a wireless microphone, speaker package, and audio mixer that are being used for my outdoor ceremony.) If I were you, I'd "just" put together an Excel spreadsheet with all the prices you can find. Just find some airline prices, invitations, thank-you cards, etc. online and plug it all in.

Wow your having all the extras included too?

I thought it would be more then 40,000 dollars but its not thats really good!!!!!

for everything i wanted i guess.

i thought it would be more also. i wil try my hardest to type the breakdown this weekend. they mail it in a weird format that you ccan not copy so i will retype it.
i thnkn that will help you alot. I mean i am adding trumpeters, custom cocktail, lots of candy and fudge trays, custom cake, coach, welcome dinner, photo video that is also with 5 pased hord and a platter and 6 coarse mean and open bar. i will do my best to type that up for yoiu this weekend

We had alot of what you mentioned (minus the coach, mk shoot, and characters) but added a few other things, plus a welcome dessert party, 2 weeks vacation in Disney and a week honeymoon in hawaii we were somewhere around 65k. I think the Disney portion minus the vacation itself was about 45k.

if you list a few things you are interested in I am sure we can help with pricing. Alot of the items are listed in the wishbook www.disneyweddings.com I believe. Any specific questions fire away.

My Budget break down looks alot like sunshine's.

A few differences is that my video was closer to $2,000 my photo was closer to $4,000.

My welcome party was an illuminations party so I had to incur all of those fees plus 2 buses for the 3 hours (but you could do without the buses imo)
For the illumintaions party we paid a $250 venue fee, and escort fee and $12.50 viewing fee for around 70 people. so that adds up quick.

Just as a breakdown for food to give you an idea my pre-reception was around $40 a person (we had a pasta station, 4 paased items, cheese display and fruit display) Our meal was around $130 per person. We did a goat cheese ravioli app, salad, lit ice rose sorbet, duo entree of filet mingon and lobster tail and slipper dessert. I think the cake was under $10 pp but then you have to pay a cutting fee pp and for the castle topper if you go that way. Our bar was around (full premium open bar) $50 pp and we added a $6 pp champagne toast.

We also extended our reception an hour which we had to pay around $500 to do plus extra fees for the dj.

Hope this helps- I have more information if you have any questions;)

Wow okay!!!!!

Actually not that that bad I thought everything would be lie 100,000 dollars but its not!!!!!!!!=]

Thank you guys so much

Also, How longcan you extend your reception hour for?

Remember that prices change often. Your prices are not guaranteed until (well it was) 6 months out. Use the wishbook as base pricing and definately do the excel spreadsheet. Your costs and items you need to take in consideration are your flowers, if you do chargers for food service, open bar vs cash, what type of food that you have, and time of day of your event. Other decorations. It can get pricey fast, so make a list of things that are priorities that you must have! Then go from there. Don't forget transportation, hair/makeup, video and photography in your total. Even if you do not use Disney for this, you still will need to figure it out in the total!!! GOOD LUCK!

Unfortunately Jonette is right. I started planning my wedding in 2005 for June 2007. We were hit with a big price increase in Jan 2006 and then again in 07'.:confused3 As long as you are prepared it won't hurt as bad:rotfl:

Pixie Your wedding seemed really nice have you done a trip report yet? =]

No not yet...but I am working on one;) I am waiting to hopefully get some pro pics first!

Yay great

Ok so if prices dont skyrise up I will hopefully have my dream wedding
with.......

Wedding Pavillion Ceremony
Pre-reception
reception at grand Floridian
75-85 guests
Plated dinner menu
Disney floral
3 tiered cake
Mickey Minnie and Maybe Goofy
custom menus
place cards
wedding favors
custom dance floor
mk photoshoot
photography
videography
floral centerpieces
table covers
chair covers with sash
invitations
save the date cards
welcome bags
and etc...........

Also, you can use outside vendors for photography, video, and floral at your location so it would be a good idea to research those options since Disney seems to be incredibly overpriced in those areas.:goodvibes
