Just to let everyone know, apparently if you order an item at dickssportinggoods.com and paying using google checkout your order might be processing for up to 6 business days.
I ordered my crocs using their discount and google checkout on the 15th.
They received the order on the 16th and I haven't heard anything.
I ended up calling them and the customer service lady said that they have until tomorrow to process because I used google checkout.

So... moral of the story... if you buy using google checkout add 6 business days to your expected receipt date.

Update:

I called in again today after seeing no email from them only to find out that my order was STUCK?!?!??!
Guess what, they can't unstuck it because there's no inventory... LOL!!!
Well, I was p-o-ed.
The supervisor got on the phone and said that they'd give me 15% disc... I thought it was a joke, so I explained I already had the 15% discount.
Then he upped it to 20% but still no product... sigh...
Long story short, I cancelled my order. Emailed the customer service online. Emailed google checkout.
Will never buy from them again.

Again, moral of the story if you pay using google checkout, don't get an update on your order in the promised time period (1-2 bus days for me) and you can't find the product online anymore -> Call and be sure to ask for a supervisor if the customer service rep refuse to check other than saying your order is processing.

not sure it's google's fault...every other store i've used with google checkout has been fast, but this one is taking forever processing.

The CS lady pointedly said that they processed all orders through dicks.com directly prior to the ones using google. So I agree with you, I don't think it's google's fault. I just won't buy anything from dick's anymore... :)
 
With the $10.00 discount and Dicks discount to me it was worth the wait, I think you can pay for express shipping.
 


Mine took forever too. They didn't process it until I sent them an email asking for an update.

Though I agree, for $10 off, it was worth the wait.
 
A co-worker of mine had the same issue with Dick's & Google Checkout around Christmas. It took an extra 10 days for the item to arrive over something I ordered from Dick's the same day not using Google Checkout. We both paid by credit card, and chose the same shipping method to the same office.
 
Same problem here with Dick's and google checkout. For me it wasn't worth the $10 savings having to deal with my kid asking EVERY SINGLE day for nearly 3 weeks if his Heeley's had come in. I just assumed shipping times would be "normal" without even checking.
 


I didn't have any problems with google checkout through Dicks. I received my crocs within a week. I did have them shipped to my work address though instead of my home. Maybe that saved time.
 
I had no problems with Dicks/Google..had my shoes in about a week. Now Shoebuy on the other hand...dont even get me started on them :headache:
 
I had the same problem -- but I got my shoes in about 10 days.

BUT the bigger problem was that the crocs did not fit right - they are a little too big - since there were no 1/2 sizes and I wear an 8 1/2 - I ordered the 9 to be safe thinking the 8 would be too small -- but the 9 are way too big.

I went to Dicks to return them and get the 8s in the store and was told that I can't return items bought on dicksportingoods.com at the store - can only return product on line.

WHICH IS A BIG HASSLE -- so I will never buy from Dicks online again. Whoever heard of an online store not letting you return to the same store that is free standing.

Stupid dumb policy!
 
The Friday before Mother's day I ordered a pair of Disney Crocs from Dick's using Google checkout. I got my shoes the next Friday. Not forever by any means, but certainly about the slowest I've ever received anything when shopping online.

Bring them in without the receipt, don't tell them you purchased them online and they'll let you exchange them. Even their store return policy states that they'll do an exchange without a receipt. You just need to be sure you don't say you bought them online, I went in the first time with the receipt and they wouldn't exchange because they saw I bought them online, went in a second time without the receipt and they let me do an exchange.
 
I ordered a pair about a month 1/2 ago with discount and goggle, received in about 4 days. Maybe they are low on stock because everyone buying for summer. I had no problems, sorry you did.
 
I also ordered about a little over a month ago and didn't have a problem, took about a week. Maybe it does have more to do with the availability of the stock. If they are low on something maybe Dick's direct customer orders come before those using Google checkout?:confused3
 
While I agree that it's worth the wait to get a good deal, I have to admit that I'm VERY frustrated with the way Dick's is processing its orders!

I placed an order last Tuesday (5/15) and they only shipped it today (5/24). Despite the delay in processing the order, they still used ground shipping. I can deal with an occasional delay in shipping an order, but the biggest frustration is that there was no communication. I never received an email indicating that they would not ship my order for NINE days and then it would still be sent out via the slowest shipping method. Most companies will at least upgrade the shiiping at no charge if they fail to process the order in a timely manner.
 
I ordered mine over a month ago, kept getting an email encouraging me to cancel the order because of the delay. I didn't and got an email this morning that the Crocs were shipped. When I loked closely I saw that the Google checkout was not honored. Dick's gets no more of my business!! Unfortunately, they were the only retailer, crocs.com included, who carried New England Patriot's Crocs so I put up with them.

Have you actually checked your cc yet to see what you were charged? It seems like I remember with all my google checkouts the store website receipt and email would show the full amount but the google receipt and email would show the total less the $10 discount.
