Help! Everyone, please, send good vibes my way! This is way OT anything Disney, other than, the reason I'm doing what I'm doing is so I can eat whatever I want for FREE on my upcoming September trip. So...

Ok, I started Weight Watchers 3 weeks ago. So far, I've done well. Lost 3# first week, then 3.6, then 2.8 - total of 9.4. This week, I've stayed on plan, but, well, I just have not, how should I say, gone #2. I have weigh in on Wednesday, and am just so bloated! All the fiber, whole grains, and healthy food I've been eating, you would think I'd be the poster child for colonoscopy prep, but NOOOOOOO.... just the opposite.

So, I need suggestions, on how to "get things moving" by tomorrow. I'm already taking fiber supplements as well, not that you'd think I'd need them, but between them, dairy, roughage (oats and salads almost daily), something's gotta give!!!

perhaps a stool softener? they are quite gentle on the system to use or maybe something stronger like Exlax....seems weird you are having this porblem tho.....watch out when things do get moving that you are close to a bathroom!

I'd try some grape juice. White Grape works well. I give it to the kids when they have this problem, and it works well overnight, so make sure you are near a bathroom in the am!

Are you drinking all of your water and eating your healthy oil? You really need both to stay regular. Very important parts of the plan.

Hope you fell better!

Yes, I am doing both of those. I have ready from many people on the WW Core Plan, that this can happen. Probably just my body trying to adjust to eating healthier, non-processed foods, but seriously...

I say EXlax or 16oz of apple juice or prune juice. I would also stay close to the bathroom. I'm starting WW againg tomorrow. My goal is to lose 50lbs!

Good luck with your weigh in !

Awwww. You poor thing. Everyone has mentioned thing that I would recommend, so I will just send along some :pixiedust: that you feel like "yourself" ASAP.

Congratulations on your wonderful success so far with WW. It's a wonderful program. ::yes::

I don't have any new suggestions, 'cause I'm new too, but I wanted to tell you that I know how you feel. (And it's not fun.)

Hope things get moving!

Prune juice normally works well but I would only drink a few ounces!:rotfl:

I lost 12 pounds right before my last trip. I worked really hard at cutting portion sizes and exercising more. After 7 days in Disney and eating on the meal plan I gained 7 pounds! :rotfl:

I really need to lose this fast so I can gain more in September with DH!

Activia is what helps me, I am dieting too. . . The light version is just fine. . . works great, at least for me.

i have used the Walmart brand Colace laxative/stool softener and it has worked real well

One thing I learned on WW been on the plan for 3 years is you need a lot of water to help with all that fiber. Fiber alone will not help without the water. Max amount of fiber you should get each day per Dr. Oz on Oprah is 25 grams and on Weight watchers I am usually way over that amount. Things that have helped me are stool softeners and Activa. Good luck

Everything everybody mentioned above + exercise. A good brisk walk will usually get things moving.

I have IBS-constipation, and what works well, and is not going to be something you will eventually HAVE to take to "go" is Milk of Magnesia. Works well, not habit forming...works overnight as a matter of fact.
Hope you feel better.

Oh, I agree about the Milk of Mag. - but I thought maybe it was just me [glad to know it isn't].

And are you getting enough exercise? That really helps move things along.

A bit of epsom salts in water. The exact amount is on the side of the package. Drink that and within a couple hours you will be feeling much better. I wouldn't plan on going anywhere for several hours after you drink it ;)

I am a do-it-yourself WW. I think everyone's advice here has been excellent- you may want to ask over on the WISH board. You may find more people who can relate over there. Lots of WW people on CORE and other low-carbers.
Your weight loss is amazing I have been on WW since Jan. and haven't lost much more than you!

Thank you all for the suggestions. I'm not sure if it was the stool softener or what, but something kicked into HIGH gear today! Now, I won't feel so bad tomorrow, come weigh in. Everyone here is no nice and helpful - with everything! You guys rock! Thanks again!
