Hello All,

Just putting a feeler out here to see how many and if any fellow Greater Area Pittsburghers would be interested in having a Dismeet, if so please respond to this thread.

A few of us Pittsburgh Disers have been chatting and would be interested in setting something up.

Tentative ideas are meeting at say Station Square sometime this Summer on a Saturday, earliest projection looking for a mid June date. Offering Station Square as a location option due to its central location, decent parking, and many restaurant/entertainment offerings.

So how about yinz guys, wanna meet up and chat about our favorite Mouse!!

Hope to see you real soon.

I would definitely be interested and Station Square seems like a great central meeting point. I saw in the other thread that some people from the tri state area were talking about driving in and if that's the case, there are hotels readily available. I say we set a date ASAP and see how many of us we can get together! I'd love to meet the Pittsburgh DISers!

I'm in if DS baseball schedule doesn't interfere. Station Square sounds great or even The Waterfront. We're off the world next week!

Should we resurrect the moving to Pittsburgh thread on the CB if it's still over there and try to generate more interest towards this thread??

I'd be interested in a meet. Station Square sounds great -- would it be more like an adult night out?

It's 2 hours 40 minutes according to mapquest for me to Station Square, definitely do-able and will be a nice break from school :cool1:

I like the idea of station square also!!

Kennywood is a fine idea, but the food stinks, it cost money and I will be the one to say it, there is no alcohol.

Subscribing! Station Square or the Waterfront sounds good to me.

Well this sounds like it is gaining momentum here...... Woohoo......

And Station Square sounds like the most favorable spot....and it is family friendly so I think kids coming would be perfectly acceptable...Heck my 2 year old can tell you which park is which just by showing her a picture of the park icon......ie Hat = MGM.

Soooo the next question.....dates and timing......Looking at mid June to mid July timeframe......

The last weekend in June (30/31) or the first weekend in July (7/8) would be best for me. I can do either Saturday or Sunday and time doesn't matter as long as it isn't super early.

Count me in. Station Square sounds great. I'm OK for most weekends with the exception of the last weekend in June and the first 2 weekends in August. Oh yeah, and the weekend the new Harry Potter book comes out.:woohoo:

I'm in! June doesn't really work for us and neither does ealry July (although I could do something myself in then.) DH's surgery is in late June so he will probably require most of my attention for a week or two!

I would love to do something with families as well as something for adults only. Anyone up for a happy hour :teeth:

I would be up for an adult only thing too. Not that I do not like kids but being that I do not have any..........
