Another FB report today (1/7) says trees are down at both the GF and Poly but I’m not sure when that transition happened.

It was reported the Beach Club Gingerbread Carousel started coming down on 1/2/25 and was completely down by 1/3.

4/10 - The Gingerbread House at The Grand Floridan will NOT return this year.

7/8 - Announcement by Disney - Gingerbread Houses will return to other resorts. Specifics to be announced.

11/3 - Disney Announced Gingerbread Displays for 2025

The Tower did not officially open to all guests, until the day before it was decorated for Christmas, on Dec. 17.

Just wondering, is there a reason they couldn't have put the Gingerbread House that's usually at GrandFlo somewhere else on property for this year?

I can't imagine it would have been that much extra work?

I recall it’s done mostly by GF’s pastry team so they’d have to loan out to another property and either transport everything or take space in another hotel’s kitchen for all the prep. Logistics aside where would you put it? It must be a deluxe hotel, others do not receive that level of decor. BC/YC/BWI don’t have the lobby space for the house + guests. It would clash with the Poly theme horridly. CR has a successful modern vibe gingerbread display. WL has a widely successful holiday display now including a log cabin gingerbread house. AKL has gingerbread animals. I can’t speak to DVC properties but the spot would need to be in a main traffic type hotel as the cost demands large attendance buying holiday snacks to make up for it so that rather kills SSR and OKW.

Awe. We will be at MK on Nov 1 and were hoping to see some decorations.

I wonder why they are opening at 9 then. Every other Sat is 8, so I thought it was for the overnight transition of main st to christmas

I'm local and regularly take some "back roads" on WDW property. A few days ago I noticed the tree sections for one of the hotel trees were staged back there.

Sad to see it's still confirmed GF isn't getting one this year. Part of me deep down was hoping it would be a surprise like the SSE soft opening

The last time WL had a gingerbread display it was in the back of the lobby behind the treat table and didn't affect the tree placement. I imagine it will be fine again this year.

The size of the gingerbread house at the Lodge does not compare to what you will see at The Grand. While I do not know if the house will be the same exact as past years, both should be on display,
