You can. I didn't think you could, but I removed mine anyway and now it's in my inventory.

You sure the building is gone? Sometimes the scaffolding hides the building until it's finished. If it really is gone, that's very strange.

All I see on my page is scaffolding, no building. When I click on my city through my husbands page I can see a building while my city loads, then once it loads it;s just scaffolding. Regardless it's a wasted space that can't be used, deleted, or moved.

Yeah, I wish I could simply buy permits for 10k coins each or something. Heck, even at 50k each, sometimes that would be better than waiting until the next day to get the 1 lousy permit that you are missing in order to expand.

I'm not liking how the more expansions you buy the more the price goes up. My last expansion was 100,000 coins! That's ridiculous.

The new quests are pretty good though, it's something at least. But if you have a lot of neighbors you can finish them up lickety split. Don't see we 'get' anything for them though.

I think it was 200 coins for the firehouse series. At least it didn't make me build another one of them - IIRC, one of the early housing series made me do that. Had to build 4 of X (or something like that), and I already had 6 of them in the town.

100k for an expansion does not bother me much - I'm sitting on 700k now, and it might be more than that. (I've popped the million mark a couple times - the Tower Eats is expensive, but fun to have.)

I've been having fun with it, but I have only been actively playing for a few days...I am afraid I might have hit a point where I cannot get much further. I built a clinic, and I don't have the option of inviting cityville or most active zynga friends to join my staff...it just says select name or whatever but the list is empty...and I don't want to start bothering people on my friends list that don't play games on FB.

That's strange - I know I just kept inviting friends for all of the jobs at the various community buildings. I never got a blank list. I'd try again in a day or two. Have you filled a bunch of positions in the past day or two?

Yes, I built my police building and staffed it the same day I built the clinic. Maybe I overloaded it or something.

I don't think I did anything special. I'm pretty sure I just removed it like you would if you were deleting something. I thought I was selling it, because it asked if I was sure. But right now it's in my inventory.

EDIT: ok, I don't know what happened the first time, but don't try it. I just made the mistake of taking mine out of my inventory and putting it back in my city. I removed it again, and this time it was deleted.
