Can yellow squash be used the same as zucchini? We were given a bunch and kind of tired of it grilled...

Yes. I even use it in zucchini bread.

Take a medium zuke, half it, hollow it out, fill with tomato sauce, shredded cheese, pepperoni. Bake for about 10 minutes at 350.
