So I spoke too soon. We went to Walmart yesterday where DS spotted Zoobles and had to use his birthday money on one. He loves it! (and I have to admit, they are cute) I really did not want to get sucked into another fad toy...especially since the Zhu Zhus are sitting in the playroom collecting dust right now, but here we go!

Squinkies is what my DD4 prefers. They are sold out at all stores around here. My mother ordered some online from Amazon yesterday though.

OK, so the Zoobles are larger and sort of "pop-up" and the Squinkies can be put on pencil tops and worn as rings. Both come with "houses" and other accessories, right?

We went to TRUs yesterday and all the Squinkies were sold out since they were like 25% off. They had a ton of Zoobles but all at full price so we skipped it. TRUs said they get trucks on Wed and Fri so I may go back and see if they got any more in.

Luckily we made out with only 2 Zhu Zhus and no accessories from last year. We "only" have about 30 Silly Bands. But now that my DD5 starts Kindergarten next week, I bet her classmates are going to be into these too and I'd like to get a few. Still not sure which ones S or Z's.

All the squinkies were gone at the Target by me today. They had some Zoobles though. No single packs but about 6 double packs and some packs that had about 5 or 6 in them.

Walmart.com has 4 different Zooble sets right now. Amazon has Zoobles and some Squinkies. Looks like the Squinkie playset prices are high but the bubble packs are $11, so only $1 more than Target and Walmart.

Well, I'm jumping on the bandwagon too. Picked up some Squinkies last night at our Walmart. These things are *just* coming out at our local Walmarts now, so there was lots in stock. I wonder if they will really take off here or not?

Funny, the bubble packs are 9.99 here in Canada......

Stopped by W*Mart yesterday evening *something I usually avoid doing and scored some Squinkies they had loads of Zoobles too ~ but earlier yesterday I had placed an Amazon order for Zs. DD is pretty much set for C~mas **DS is harder to shop for** *I've also purchased all the Monster High dolls for her and will give her *probably from Santa* an American Girl doll *I have Elizabeth in the closet *FYI she and Felicity are being archived or I'll get Lanie for her *I'll see what the QVC show on the 11th has to offer.

I ordered three of the sets from Amazon, now I need to get some of the limited edition pets and the dual pack of pets...I hope to get those tomorrow...then I have all the Squinkies and enough of the Zoobles.

Our TRU had booth Zoobles and Squinkies today. DD really wanted Squinkies, so she bought a pack of them and the gumball machine. She played with them for all of 5 minutes and lost interest! I guess I don't really get the point of them either.

I bought DD, who will be 4 in Feb, 2 zoobles about a month ago. I think they are cute but at $5 a pop, they can really add up.

Should I get a playset too? Or at 4, will she pretty much just carry them around?

I'm sure this goes without really saying, but I'll say it anyway, just in case:

It looks like Squinkies are out of stock online except through Amazon, BUT, be cautious on Amazon because the prices aren't always "retail" since middle-man sellers can sell on the marketplace. I was wondering why some of the items seemed so expensive and it was because they aren't being sold BY Amazon, just THROUGH Amazon.

Zoobles (to varying degrees) are available on Target, Wal-Mart, and Toys R Us right now.

I broke down and bought 4 individual Zoobles, 1 2-pack, and the 5-pack set. I figure I can always return them, give them as gifts to others, or donate them at Christmas if DD isn't interested (and so far, she isn't).

No, instead, DD wants the Monster High dolls...fewer to buy, but 3 times as much per purchase! I have gotten the one she asked for, but I'm debating about trying to get the others...I think I prefer the plush dolls to the Barbie-style ones. Sorry, OT I know.

Target in Delafield (since you are in Milwaukee, I assume you know where that is. West on 94. Anyway, they have a TON of zoobles!!! No squinkies though.

now that I gave that away...just don't buy them all one me! LOL!!!
