I have just bought a new house and am looking forward to planting. I have no idea what zone i am in though. Where would someone look for that information. (I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada if that helps anyone who might know)

Aw, you're in Zone 3a! That's harsh, with average lows of -40C/F. Check with your local garden center to see what thrives in your area, and good luck!

By the way, I just brought up Google.com, and entered Canadian Hardiness Zones, and came up with several links.
