My son has discovered Zoboomafoo the last few months since we got Sprout.
He loves this show!! Does anyone know where I can get the Zoboo talking plush? Somewhere besides Ebay which when I did see it on there costs an arm and a leg? I've been checking Craigslist. I thought maybe our local zoo?

TIA!!:goodvibes

Im not sure, but my son has been hooked on that show for over 2 years. He still hasnt gotten sick of it.

I think that I saw some zoboomafoo items at Kohls last week.
I noticed them because my children were into them when they were a little younger and then I never saw anything in the stores.
Good luck

My 11yo and 9yo LOVED that show!

It is such a nice show....and it's great that it's still getting new viewers after 11 years... especially since it only ran for about 3 years I think!

Sorry, I can't help with the product stuff.... my kids would have loved to have had a stuffed animal.

Wow, I had no idea it was such an old show! Looking at wiki, it only ran for just over ONE year! They managed to do it perfectly; nothing looks dated. Jeeps, plain t-shirts, and simple cargo shorts are timeless I suppose. :)

And from this thread I found that we get the Nat'l Geographic channel, and they had another show, Be The Creature, that ran in '03/'04, that's still being shown.

The Kratts will be back next year. They are in production on a new show for PBS and Canadian television called WildKratts. It's aimed a little older, as Kratt's Creatures was: http://www.9story.com/site/news/201...ture-comedy-series-wild-kratts-on-pbs-kids-go-

DD3 is a big fan of Zoboo a well, as was her 10-yrs-older brother before her. Luckily, we taped every episode produced when it was still on daily on PBS, and we've converted them to DVD, so she can watch them anytime.

The fun part is when we go to the lemur area at the zoo, and she's looking for Zoboo (the Coquerel's Sifaka) while all the other kids are looking for King Julian (the Ring-tailed.) It's funny to hear the young teens in the area pick up on that and remember Zoboomafoo.

OP, if you are looking for a stuffed Zoboo, just look for a Coquerel's Sifaka plush online. There are lots of them out there, including one sold by Amazon for $14. It won't talk, but your little one probably won't care too much about that.

Maybe check Amazon as well. We have some DVDs from when DS (now 9) loved the show a few years back. The Kratts had a live show at the KidsFest at Dollywood about 2-3 yrs ago, and we got to see it and get a signed DVD. They seem to be really nice guys in person, as well.

My 17 year old son was a HUGE Kratt Brothers fan when he was around 6.....Zoboomafoo was on then!

We went to see them at the Nashville Zoo in 2000.The brothers were WONDERFUL...they signed EVERY persons free picture of themselves and took time to talk to every child. They also gave everyone free sticker sets.We waited in line about 3 hours to get both their autographs but it was worth it...it's one of Erich's favorite memories!

I'm happy to hear they have a new show coming soon!:thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for all the great suggestions. I had no idea the show had been around for so long!! I'm also glad to hear their coming out with a new show. It's wonderful to hear the brothers are so nice in real life!!:)
