? zip lok bag

2 types of bags.

1--has a zipper tab

2-- has to be pressed together ( this bag is call a ZIP-LOK)

are both bags acceptable ?

I went out and got some of the zipper type, rather than the press type. I don't want to give them any cause for complaints. I think the TSA site actually shows the zipper type.

When I flew out of MSP last week, they had bags available at the checkpoint.

Either is ok. At least it was thru PHL and MCO last week. Make sure you bring your own bags. Someone asked for a bag at PHL and they were out of them.

There have been reports on flyertalk that some bag checkers are only accepting the plastic tab kind of bag.

And at Houston Hobby someone is running business selling bags for 50 cents each.

(And can someone tell me WHY only CERTAIN types of quart bags are acceptable? Is the TSA getting a kickback? Is Kip Hawley getting a kick back... that would not surprise me!)
