Zhu Zhu for a 9 year old boy?

uh oh. I bought 4 not even quite knowing what they were for my teens, up to age 19. Not for anything but fun to run around the room together. They do just scoot around on their own, right? Make the dogs and cats react?

I got one for my two girls 17 and 14 and my niece 13. My younger DD wanted a real hamster and I thought this might substitute . My older DD fell in love with "the cute little mouse" that we found in our house. So I thought this could replace him since DH found him and "set him free". I got one for my niece because she opens gifts with us and also because I thought her 2 cats might have fun with it!

I think they will all enjoy them. But as a cute, side gift.
