Zero Live Entertainment in Epcot on Wednesdays and Thursdays!

Ugh we are here for two more nights, and I didn't realize that there is practically nothing left for live entertainment in Epcot on Wednesdays and Thursdays! It used to be that one band would be off, but the others would be on. The piano player in UK doesn't even play past 4:30. We are finding that we are spending less and less time in Epcot this trip when it used to be our favorite.

I'm holding an Epcot times guide right now and the following are listed for Wed & Thur: Jeweled Dragon Acrobats, Mariachi Cobre, Sergio (the mime in Italy), Voices of Liberty, Matsuriza, and Quickstep, and then Matboukha Groove on Thursday but not today. American Music Machine is also on Thursday but not today. The Jammitors perform both days.

In comparison, the following are listed as off: Wies N Baum, Serveur Amusant, British Revolution, and Alberta Bound.

I guess I was referring more to World Showcase. We did catch the Chinese acro group which was great, but there is very little going on from Norway all the way through Canada, UK, and France. Gone are the days you could walk from country to country and they had some entertainment every 30 minutes.

The vast majority of the things I mentioned are in WS, except for Jammitors and AMM (who are sometimes in WS).

I'm not debating that there's less stuff than there used to be. I'm just correcting the idea that there's "zero live entertainment" on days when there are more acts on the schedule than off.

Regarding AMM, I just spoke with one of the members a couple days ago, and he says they've been well-received in Futureworld, so it's possible that will become their new home. They started in the AmGar theater because management wanted that venue regularly active.

Re; World Showcase, as long as the Voices are performing, I'm happy. And they're now back inside the rotunda full time.

It is VERY unusual for both The Mill Stage and the UK Bandstand to be dark on the same day.

That does make that area of WS feel "empty" entertainment-wise.

Alberta Bound is just filling in until the next new act for Canada arrives and is just playing for the Festival days(Friday,Saturday,Sunday,Monday).

When the new act starts, there will be at least one of the UK and Canada stages operational each day again.:)

I think one day is understandable. Everyone needs a break from working. But both on two days in a row is a lot. We walked from Norway to France and it was quite boring.

I would agree if it was a "permanent thing"-but it is a very short-term situation as to The Mill Stage and UK Bandstand.

And in between, there's live entertainment in Italy, the US, Japan, and Morocco.

They never left WDW, well at least the members haven't. They're still Disney CMs and could be back on the Canada stage tomorrow. Off Kilter has continued to perform ever since they were cancelled, just not at WDW. They even released an album in 2016. You can catch them next time you're in the area, but it might be at Universal.
And 2 of the Kilter guys,Jason and Billy, are in Alberta Bound and also Jason and Billy play regularly at Scat Cat's over at the Quarter.

The last time I was in Epcot, Canada had that horrific lumberjack show... we'll be back this March so we'll make it a point to catch Alberta Bound!

We did end up seeing the last 2 minutes of the Mexican and Morrocan bands last night, so I guess our timing was just completely off this trip. We will be back in October and will hopefully catch more!
