Great plans...that's a lot of AK time!! But night safari?? I haven't heard about that...I may have to look up some more info on that...sounds really cool!! Also you have some great ADR's in mind...I LOVED Kona when we were there in March and all the others sound amazing too! Sorry about your DF's having to be away so much...that's got to be hard. Are you able to go visit at all?

I do love AK so I don't mind. Plus I really like to be efficient and since AKL is so far away I don't want to waste time on transport when AK is pretty darn close!

I think you can only do the Night Safari if you are staying at AKL. I'm not 100% sure but I think I read that somewhere.

I have like the longest list of ADR's that I want! Seriously I am gonna have to buy to plane seats on the flight home at this rate!

I really don't get to see him AT ALL right now. I've seen him once, yes once, since he move to London. I know England is a pretty small country compared to the USA and Canada but it still takes about 5 hours to get to London by train from where I live in the North of England Plus the fact that he works Monday to Friday and I work weekends we have no overlapping days off .

Short answer: we don't! It is so frustrating right now. But he is super busy with his job and I'm super busy with mine. I can't take anytime off right now (wedding season) so with no overlapping days off we just don't see each other. At all.

I really am a obsessive planner! In fact I just changed our plans again! I need help!
I am excited and nervous to try Sanaa because I am not adventurous when it comes to food But I'll give it a try! Plus I bread so I will have to try that!

I love the look of T-Rex, I'm not overly optimistic that the food will be great if its anything like Rainforest Café which was pretty gross But say the word cocktails and I'm 110% on board!

I know I am so sad about Italy. But I guess that leaves me with more time to plan for WDW...and probably change our plans...again!

First change is dates:​

Fly out Monday 5th September, Fly home Monday 3rd October​

Second Change is resorts:​

Animal Kingdom Lodge
Polynesian
Grand Floridian
Old Key West
But now we are going back to our original plan of Beach Club! (This one was DM not me...see where I get it from )​

Third Change is time at resorts:​

AKL, CR are still the same. But now we are staying:​

1 Night at GF. This is the resort DM is least looking forward to and as a comprise we decided to just do one night stand at the GF to get it out of my system!
Oh and when I changed it Lagoon View was only £16 more! Score! ​

4 Nights at BC. Now this was meant to be YC but now DM thinks she prefers the BC so back to BC it is! ​

4 Nights at the Poly. We both agreed that we would rather do longer at BC and Poly as these are more appealing to DM. I'm not complaining though ​

9 Nights at OKW. As we increased our Poly and BC time something has gotta give and as OKW was our longest stay that was the tribute we chose! ​

It's nice that with making plans so far in advance you are able to change your mind and really think everything through!!! I love the plans really...and I'd want to spend a night at the GF too just to say you did it and see what all the fuss is about. If I win the lottery...or maybe to celebrate a really special birthday or something...maybe that's when I will have a chance to try it.

That must be so hard being 5 hours away and not having time to visit at all...I'd be wanting to go to London all the time though..what a cool place...love it there. But I'm sure it is amazingly beautiful where you are too..I would love to see more of England...and Scotland too...and Ireland...all on my list...for when I have a chance to do more travelling other than Disney lol

YES we have club level and theme park view, it's so obnoxious! and yes under three months - 82 days to be exact.. not that I'm counting or anything

I'm not sure what to do about my TR.. I'm thinking that not everyone will be interested in a DLP trip report, so I might do like my intro, then a few quick/short DLP posts, then the WDW report I'm not really sure yet though!

I know what you mean. I keep changing my mind about what ADRs I want. I have learned that my kids and DH hate when I ask them about a restaurant or a plan. I get the "Mom it isn't till next year it doesn't matter right now" or the "if you don't stop talking to me about Disney I am not going to want to go."

Why don't hey understand how important all this planning is.

Plus the case he is on is 99.9% going to over run into August so Italy is just a no go.

I am the most indecisive person ever! It's still over a year away and I have re-planned this trip like 100 times! No joke!!

I always loved the GF since I was a kid (I blame Full House!) and since they redid the rooms I just really want to stay there. But it is expensive and as DM isnt really that sold on the whole thing I am making do with my one nighter! Plus I get two extra nights at the Poly and an extra night at BC instead!

I do like London for short visits but I really couldn't live there (which could be an issue...)
I am much closer to Scotland and there is some beautiful scenery in the North of England. I'm just a Northen lass at heart!

But you should defo come and visit! Especially while we are still one country!

We really do! I booked through Virgin Holidays. We went through them last time and they are really good!

I'm taking it back to the 90's and giving you some useful info to use that Chumbawamba taught me: "There's always someone else for you to blame." Then again, it is partially your fault cause your trip is forever away. So....

I have considered it but haven't decided. My fears are that the grammar police will show up and judge me because when I get excited I seem to forget everything I ever learned and Disney talk gets me excited

The other fear is no one will read it and I will basically be talking to myself about Disney. I do that all day long in my head but don't know that I want proof of it.

I totally understand these fears and I had them myself. But the people here are super nice and for the most part don't judge each other for much. Also - if you follow others and comment and put a link to your PTR in your signature you will get at least a few followers pretty quick. I don't claim to be DIS royalty or anything but just by hanging around here I've gotten to "meet" quite a few awesome people and learn a lot in the process. Also, the comments you get when you are planning are really helpful. And hey...I find it helpful to write it out on here even if it is just for you in the end...it just clarifies things and makes it easier to plan.

Sorry to hijack your PTR lol...but the more the merrier

Okay so lets see....when I last left off....we were somewhere...doing...something...hmmm...

Oh yeah it was after our soft opening at BOG! Still sounds dirty...anyway!

Our next day we decided to head to Epcot. We left our room at something o'clock and off to the monorail we went! We zoomed to TTC and hopped in line for the Epcot monorail. I vividly remember it was so cold this morning and I was freezing standing on that platform in my short and T-shirt. I probably should have dressed for colder weather but I was in FLORIDA and I was meant to warmer than it was at home!! It wasn't...WHY???

Yeah thanks Olaf that's what I said!

So finally our monorail arrived and we were off to Epcot. Can I just take a moment to say how much I LOVE the monorail?? It is just perfect! Did anyone else ride at the front when they were kids? So much fun!

Now I only have one photo of Epcot! But it's enough to prove we actually went there!

Then as were was in The Land, you know efficiency, we headed onto Living with the Land. We into the queue anyway... Seriously it was ridiculous! I think we waited like thirty minutes! But I love me some LWL so it was all good. I love the part where you can see the...errr...turny restaurant...who's name I cant for the life of me remember. But those robbing Chipmunks work there .

After our very relaxing boat ride with veggies and fishies we headed out of The Land to hit up my second favourite Epcot ride: SE! Yes SE is my second favourite after old TT. I like Soarin but its not something I would be too upset about missing.

I have to say that I like the fact that Dame Judi is the narrator but I still prefer the old version. The make your own future was cute but I used to love the old ending much better! Heck I think Epcot is the park where I preferred EVERYTHING better before! Hmmm...I feel a rant coming on...

I understand that you have to move with the times and keep things fresh and new to keep people coming back...but did they really have to take really good attractions out and replace them with crap?? Like Horizons. I loved that! Mission Space can quite frankly suck it!

Does anyone remember Food Rocks? Why did that have to go while the worst movie about recycling told but lions, warthogs and meercats gets to stay?

And again what did they do to Figment??

Uh! Also why did they have to get ride Cranium Command and Body Tours? And, while I don't hate it hate it, why is Ellen still there??

Don't get me wrong I think Ellen is hilarious

But that ride needs a serious overhaul!

Well...there was my Epcot rant for the day! Don't we all feel better?

After a glimpse into our strangely cartoony future we emerged from the giant golf ball.

Where to next?

How about we try and make an ADR for Coral Reef? Okay lets do that! Off we went in the direction of The Seas. Now the reason we were trying to make a ADR at Coral Reef in the park was, as I mentioned, we did no forward planning for this trip therefore we have no ADRs.

We thought we should maybe book some so we didn't, you know, starve!
Of course when we get there...nobody's there. There is a phone...but its not working.

Well there goes that plan! By now it was time to head back to use our FP for Soarin!

I'm pretty sure we got no leg row!

After our soar over California was well..over..we de-glidered and made our way back out into Epcot.

But where to next?
I would ask you to guess but that would mean I need to know the answer!

And on that bomb-shell I'm going leave it there because this is becoming ridiculously long...and not in a good way
