Zappos.com Outlet

Anyone been to the either of the Zappos outlets in Kentucky (Bowling Green or Shepherdsville)? We will be in Kentucky soon for vacation, is it something worth planning a stop at? Is one better than the other, or do they have the same things.

Any coupons out there I should look for?

I don't know that I'd drive a great distance out of my way to go ... like most outlets, it's hit and miss. Sometimes there are tent sales, but I haven't seen one advertised recently.

I agree. If you're driving right by, it's worth taking a look. But I wouldn't travel too far. FWIW, I've been to the one in Shepherdsville twice and I left empty handed both times.

Do you know if they have back packs in the Spherdsville store? I bought one online last year for my DD and it looks new still and I wanted to get one for my DS. Thanks in advance!

As everyone said it is hit or miss..... I get Earth shoes there and I have to search for my size. I hate having Big Feet, Size 10 -11 and I'm short.

My aunt gets coupons in the mail to shop at the Outlet which would make it a better deal and all sales are final.

I don't remember if they have backpacks. I don't see why they wouldn't. If it gets returned online, it goes to the outlet. But they may not!

My family lives in Mt. Washington 10 miles away from Shepherdsville so I try to go when I visit. I live in Virginia now.

I was in ours once. Didn't find any of the prices what I would consider a bargain. Infact I don't even remember seeing any shoes that I liked and it's a big store. I guess if I went in it everytime I was in town maybe I would find something. Wouldn't hurt to look if your in town anyway but I wouldn't make a special trip for it.

I've shopped at there original outlet store here in Las Vegas. I had a postcard that was 50% off the 2nd pair if I paid with American Express and it was REALLY hard to find a 2nd pair. It is a true outlet store with leftovers designs that didn't sell very well and single pairs in weird sizes. You might see a cool pair of shoes in a size 7 Narrow; and if you look around in the size 10s for the same shoe you won't find it . . . because the 7 Narrow is the ONLY pair like it. If you're in the neighborhood stop by and make pass through the store, but I wouldn't make a special trip. Is there a DSW near you? I'd shop there first!!

While this is true ...... I did see a lot of various styles and sizes for a lot of shoes in the Shepherdsville store in Louisville. I've been told that many of Zappos.com shoes that returned go to their outlet store. The outlet store there is part of the facility where they process orders and ship.

So there is a high chance you won't find the shoes you are looking for. However, last time I was there, they had sales staff helping people find shoes.
