What is your table service restaurant of choice for dinner at EPCOT and why? Is i the same restaurant if on the DDP or out of pocket? Yes or no and why?

Tokyo Dining. Great service, yummy food, gorgeous restaurant, beautiful view- especially at night. DDP or $, doesn't matter.

Indeed an awesome choice and a glowing review of a restaurant that doesnt get alot of love!

Here are my two favorites:

  1. Teppan Edo - everyone in our family loves the atmosphere and the food. Depending on the chef you get, the show can be pretty entertaining. All of the food - from the salad to the noodles, to the steak and chicken - always tastes great. We stopped doing the dining plan this year and still enjoyed this restaurant. For our family of 5 (4 Disney adults, 1 Disney kid)with a couple of drinks and gratuity, the total was $245.
  2. Biergarten - we like this restaurant because of the variety of the food and the show. Most of the food is delicious and you get to sample some authentic fair. The show is not spectacular but it's a great environment to sit back, relax and enjoy a good meal. For our family of 5 with a couple of drinks and gratuity, the total was $253.
Both of these restaurants are must-dos for our yearly 9-night trip, regardless if we are on the dining plan or not.

I have to say we like many restaurants in EPCOT. We always pay OOP as we don't do the Dining plan.
Via Napoli
Rose and Crown
Nine Dragons
Biergarten
Garden Grill for characters
Akershus also for characters

I like Biergarten because it's fun and is more unique. Many options on WS can be found all over, so not as interesting (Neapolitan-style pizza, sushi, Teppanyaki, Italian, French, steak, Chinese, Mexican).

I also like Coral Reef because it's unique and I tend to order fish (or seafood), so usually multiple things in the menu I like.

We don’t do the dining plan. Our favorites are Chefs, Le Cellier, and Tutto Italia.

Le Cellier, Via Napoli and Garden grill are the only ones we have done and they have all been great!!!

Ours is now La Hacienda de San Angel. They have a seafood based dinner for two (Del Mar) that we really enjoy.

Following along. We cant decide on our restaurant for Epcot. We love Teppan Edo but want to try something new.

Was at Rose & Crown in January -food and service were both very good. I prefer Teppan Edo however, because it's more of an event, or experience, IMO.

No dining plan here but we LOVE VN. We haven't tried many other places in WS only because we have a lot of similar places where I live that have awesome food. Next trip we are staying at BWV and it's during F&W. On Epcot days or evenings we will either do F&W treats or make same day ADR's. We will be playing it by ear. I do want to try La Hacienda or San Angel. We will see.

Spice Road Table. The food, service and atmosphere are all excellent. We do not use the DDP. Tokyo Dining used to be our go-to (the service is amazing), but they really scaled down the sushi menu a few years ago, so we don't go there anymore.

I don't think I could pick just one. We are not DDP users.

Spice Road Table- Great service. We shared a few small plates, the skewers and a pitcher of Sangria. Everything was really good.
Les Chefs de France- We really like the food and feel of this restaurant. We chose this as our final dinner on our upcoming trip.
Biergarten- Nice selection of food, good beer, festive atmosphere, all around enjoyable (as long as you don't mind making some new friends). This is probably the best bang for your DDP credit in EC.
