Just made an ADR for Jiko during our upcoming trip. We'll be staying at BWV...what's the best way to get there and back fairly quickly? Would prefer to avoid having to take a bus to DTD.

go to mgm(by boat) and then bus to akl. we do it quite often

Thanks, dytx! It was kind of a last-minute decision to go there, but we're really looking forward to it.

Depends on the time of day. If AK is still open I would head there and then transfer to the AKL bus. For the trip back, find the park that is still open and go there and then transfer to the BW bus. I hate having to go to DTD to make a transfer...takes forever.

Do not go to DTD, that is the slowest method of going from one hotel to another. Take the first park transportation that is available to you and transfer at whichever park that is. If you have never been to AKL, be sure to arrive well before your ADR time so that you can explore the resort before it gets dark. After dinner, you may want to check out the firepit and night vision goggles.

Cool. That sounds like fun. We've never been to AKL, so it would be fun to check things out. It would also make the long-ish trip over there for dinner seem like more of an adventure than a hassle.

You're in for a treat then!!! I love just walking around AKL..it is an incredibly beautiful resort. Be sure to either arrive early in order to check it out, or plan to stay later. I opt for early if there's still light to be had.

One other option is to go to International Gateway and walk through Epcot right to the AKL bus stop. This is a nice alternative if a) you don't mind walking, and b) if the weather is nice. Returning that way also works since EP is the park that usually has the latest closing.
Whichever route you take, your meal will be awesome! Jiko's is one of our favorites.

As long as they have a park hopper or AP. That is a great idea.
