Your plans for a Saturday night?

I'm hoping the 2 older kids spend the night at friends' houses and the younger one goes to the grandparents'. Then, I can REST!!

DH just got home from his annual hunting trip (no venison this year!) But got called to work, hopefully he will be home soon. Right now dd has 2 friends over and they are watching Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. DS is in there bugging them.

I'm going to cook ribs on the grill, mash some potatoes, and have a SeaDog Raspberry Wheat Ale!

On a typical Saturday night, I would cuddle up with DS and watch COPS. But tonight is DH's Holiday Party (isn't is nice of them to have the holiday party before the stress and pressure of the actual holidays?).

So tonight I get to dress up and dine on Surf and Turf, drink wine, and dance a couple dances with DH while Grandma has an inside campout with the kids. The party goes till midnight and last year, DH and I stayed until about 10:30 p.m. -- we are getting old!

Staying home - Right now watching last night's Ghost Whisperer, having a much needed glass of wine, with some nice candles burning - hoping DD8 goes to bed early (she was up at 5am and so were the dogs - all are getting on my last nerve) so I can sit back, watch TV or play on VMK, read the DISboards or work on my webpage...

Looks like it is all over for now. Whew!! The ISU stadium had to be evacuated for the game tonight. I think they have let people back in but the game will have to be delayed. There are too many people to get back into the stadium in time for the game original start time.

Just sitting here surfing the web. I will probably be going from the computer to the couch to the bed and repeating numerous times. My dad took me out for an early dinner and it was nice to get out for a little while.

Maybe I'll write up a story for a friend while I'm so bored.

Nothing much. DH just went to SIL's to pick up some food that she cooked. (I don't have to cook, yay! ) We will probably watch some episodes of 24, we have season 4 on our DVR. Nothing too exciting.

This Saturday night, one of my friends in all of his wisdom has decided I needed some cheering up after my debacle of a date on Tuesday. So what does he do? sets me up on a blind date for tonight...why did I agree to go? I have since found out that this is going to be an awful evening (some other friends know who my date is and have tried to talk me out of going). Why do my friends hate me?
