Hello! I have never posted to this forum and I have been reading around alot and appreciate the help. I am going to Orlando in May of this year with my best friend and I am planning the whole trip (never planned one before) so I am trying to plan food choices. Here is what I have so far ..

Monday: Arrive late afternoon
1. Dinner: Planet Hollywood

Tuesday: MGM
1. Breakfast Chef Mickey
2. Dinner ?Hollywood and Vine (somewhere with Fantasmic seating maybe?)

Wednesday: Off Disney property for the day

Thursday: AK
1. Donald Duckasaurus breakfast
2. NO IDEA for dinner? HELP! Boma doesnt sound that good to me

Friday: MK
1. Breakfast ?1900 Park Fare
2. Dinner: Crystal Palace

Saturday: Off Disney property

Sunday: Epcot
1. Breakfast at Norway (forgot what it is called)?
2. Dinner: somewhere at Epcot -- your suggestions are appreciated

Your suggestions are appreciated! :):goodvibes

;) Where are you staying?
Maybe a resort dinner for Thursday? Like Ohana's at the Poly or Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL, that way not only do you get a nice dinner but you can check out the resort you go to! Those are two of ny fave's!

As far as Epcot we are trying Le Cellier this time (hopefully) We have done Rose-nCrown and San Angel Inn niether were our favorites, but we were glad we went.
Planning is part of the fun!:thumbsup2

Have a good time:banana:

I agree, planning would be part of the fun if I wasn't so darn stressed out. I am graduating from grad school in 2 weeks, and I literally leave the day after graduation -- so although planning is fun -- if I had more time it would be even more fun... so that is why I am asking for assistance! :)

Ok are on on the DDP?

And what type of food do you like to eat?

Dinner in epcot, May I suggest Alfredo's (it's closing end of the summer so its' your last chance.

How about Maya Grill at Coranado Springs Resort for Thurs?

Nope no DDP - made the trip reservations before I knew about all of this stuff -- and quite frankly I am kicking myself about it -- alas onward and upward and can't stress about those things. Although I am not rich, I can afford to spend what I need to.

I like Buffets -- and honestly I have never liked high end food (for example dinner buffet at Bellagio in Vegas was a disappointment to me).

I like Italian, Mexican, Chinese -- I dont know what else I like :)

Thanks for your help!

No, my travel mate and best friend has older tickets that they will still honor -- but we dont know how to add the dining plan onto the tickets. I didnt want to just buy the dining plan for myself -- although I suppose I could.

Ok lets ask this question then: should I buy the dining plan for just myself -- or can she add them onto her tickets from before?

I recommend Les Chefs De France in Epcot World Showcase for a late lunch or early dinner. Crystal Palace is a lot of fun, plus its a character meal. In MGM I recommend Mama Melrose's.

For dinner in Epcot, we enjoyed Teppenyaki and my kids (7 and 4) said it was thier favorite of all including Chef Mickeys and the three Disney princess meals.

About tickets...
I have bought my tickets separate from my package, but to get the dining plan on my package, I had to have at least on day park ticket included. I got the base ticket for one day.

I told someone the other day that planning is half the fun. Good luck with grad school. I am graduating this summer.

Good luck.

I just re-read the OP and had a thought, you might want to have a back up for each of these places you have listed. I noticed your post said you are going in May so some places you might not get into. (unless of course you already made ressie for them) Again just a thought:)

Oh and I love, love, love the DDP I say get it!:yay:
