Your not going to believe what came with my Disney Store order

I have been ordering alot of stuff from DisneyStore.com lately. I must say that I have gotten alot of nice things at some wonderful Sale price. I had ordered a pair of shoes, matching tote bag, some socks. Well the shoes did not fit, no problem I send them back and order another size. Well they came in today.

The shoes came in a box that read Disney Store on the outside. The shoes themselves where in a bag that was sealed. Guess what was inside this sealed bag with the shoe's? Mouse poopie! I could not believe my eye's. No DH got a great big laugh out of this, as he tells me whenever we are in WDW, that they could sell Mouse Poop in a bag and people would buy it. LOL... So I call up Disney Store and explained to them that I still had these shoes, in the bag still sealed! The CM got a laugh as well, as things to happen in life in big warehouse's. She told me they would send me out a new pair and I could donate the other one's to a charity. They are also going to send me a $25.00 gift cert. I offered to send them back the shoe's in the sealed bag so they may see for themselves. The CM said she liked my sense of humor with this problem and said it was not necessary. So free new shoes and gift cert. as well, Now that is the Disney standard that I have always known.

I'm glad everything turned out so well. Kudos to you for having such a good attitude about this; I'm sure you made that CM very happy.

BTW I think Mickey needs to mind his manners a bit better when he visits his warehouses

Now that the laugh is over though, I have to say I would never have even called them about this. If the shoes are good enough to donate to some poor unsuspecting soul, why are they not good enough for you? I live in the woods. If I wasn't capable of cleaning up a little mouse poop, I would have to throw my house away!

You're getting new shoes AND a gift certificate. So TDS is out another pair of shoes and money for the gift certificate. That's the reason their items are so expensive. The rest of us have to pay for the extra shoes and gift certificates.

Funny you should mention this. I ordered two items from them recently. The outer carton that they came in had "DOPEY" stamped on it.

I have to agree with some of the others...just be happy Dumbo wasn't visiting the warehouse!
