I'm Jaimie. Yes, with two i's. My name is fairly common, and I usually meet a Jamie, Jaime, or even Jaimie wherever I go. I don't like that. I prefer to stand out, which is probably why my parents decided to spell my name differently. I've met only two other people who spell their name the same way as me.

My parents named me after a French actress, but I don't know her last name or what movies she's starred in.

However, despite spelling my first name over and over, I'd never change it for the world. I've gotten some pretty cute nicknames out of it.

I like my name a lot. It's not too common in my town, there's only one other Angela. But I know there's another on the DIS!
My parents mostly just liked the name, but I'm also named after Angela Cartright, Liesel in the Sound of Music Movie.
I don't think I'd want to change it. Somedays I want to, but then I think, "what would I change it to?"

I'm not really sure. I like less common names. Especially names that you can't really tell if it is a guy or girl. But not too "guyish." Like... umm... Bailey. Stuff like that.

I like it.

My parents just named me this because it was the only thing that they both liked.

I wouldn't change it. I like my name. It's been part of me for 13 years.

I was named after an actress on the tv show Dynasty and also after one of my relatives who's name was Art,so when he died my mom used the first letter of his name to create mine.

I would change my name to Skye,Danielle or Valerie.

I would never change my name, but if I could it would be to Alexandra (Alex), which is my middle name, or Anika, which is what my brother would have been if he was a girl. I love both names

I'm Kate. Not Katherine, not Katie, Kate. I like my name just fine. No one usually just has the name Kate. I was named after the nurse who saved my life at the hospital where I was born. We have the same middle name and if I had to change my name I would probably go by my middle name..

becka is short for rebecca. its okay. its a little too old-fashioned for me. and i was named after the biblical rebekah. all of my family has done that.
