Your Last Solution Home Loan Modification... Heard of these folks anyone?

anyone else have any FYI on this stuff.

Last December I referred someone to a HUD counselor. HUD got this person in a loan modification that not only took the case out of foreclosure but reduced the monthly payment by $900/month. And HUD didn't charge a dime.

There are many state and federal programs available now. Paying a company $2000 is money wasted, IMHO.

I am very sorry to hear this. I do hope you get your money back.

I find this all so very interesting that companies have this great "program" to help, yet they can't or wont in the end.

I think that with all the pluto poop out there this will take even more time to get back on track. Peopel with out homes and now jobs etc it's just a stinky circle that I hope brakes and ends sooner than later.

I work for one of the country's largest mortgage servicing companies. We don't originate loans, we service loans that are generally in some stage of default that the original mortgage co. has sold. (I work in HR). These companies that present themselves as a go-betweens between you and your mortgage company are worthless. They can't do anything for you that you cannot do yourself directly with your mortgage holder. Any mortgage company CAN do loan mods, I have no experience with companies that make it difficult. If you are having trouble working with your mortgage company, you should call and call and call, finally asking to speak to the President of the company. (Find out his/her name first). They will eventually escalate your case to their Executive Resolution Team and I'll bet something starts happening. Don't give those outside companies any money!

The people in Newport Beach are not owners, agents or affiliated with the company Solutions. They were merely hired to provide a temporary website while the permanent one is being built, and to assist with paper processing. The owner is in Indiana and is the sole owner and responsible person for all the representations made by Solutions.

I did not get my information from google. I know the people involved personally and I am just setting the record straight as there is much misinformation out there. The only contact in Newport Beach is their new customer service center which is located at: 1420 Bristol St. N., Ste. 210, Newport Beach, CA 92660 with entirely new people. Their new website shows Jason Moch as their Vice President and how he can be reached. There is more detailed information posted on the ripoffreport.

I just got approved for a modification through my mortgage co today!
Its been a long process but I've done it all on my own and other than a lot of time and effort it hasnt cost me a dime! Google "Loansafe", its a great forum all about the process. Had it not been for that site I would have had no idea how to proceed. Good Luck!
