Way, way (way, way, wa) back when Travelers Cheques were popular, I was vacationing in downtown Nashville. Day tewo or three, I could not find tmine anywhere. I knew they were in the room, but I looked behind stuff, under stuff, in stuff...nothing.

I walked over to the American Express office, and they replaced the value I remembered having left. About 15 years later, i got a $25 TC in the mail. The hotel had either refurbished or been torn down. They found the Travelers Cheques and turned then in to American Express, and I had underestimated what I lost.

That's interesting, and why I lost the ring in the first place. I wear my ring loose now for a reason!

Interesting. Would that work for someone who has big (arthritic) knuckles, but not much "meat" on the finger itself? I mean, can you put it on and take it off with the ring on your finger? Also, I assume, it could be used to keep two rings together, like an engagement ring that always turns around while the less weighty wedding ring doesn't?

Can't say. I'm not wearing rings right now, easier to keep washing hands. But their flexible, like the phone cord hair ties. I think they'd be easier to put one or two on the ring, then put the ring on
