When I started driving, I drove a 92 Mercury Sable that belonged to my parents. That one died in an accident, and was replaced with a 90 Chrysler New Yorker (big old boaty car) ... Very comfortable to drive, but hard to park. They added a 95 Mercury Tracer to the fleet, which is great in city (and tiny), but is horrible for long drives.

There were also times when I had to drive my dad's minivan (other cars were being repaired, or moving a lot of stuff, etc).

When I finally got my own car (summer of 2002, started driving in fall of 1998), I got a 2002 Honda Civic. It's a great little car. Great gas mileage, very roomy (even with 4 or 5 people in it, nobody ever complains about leg room), and enough space in the trunk to put my hockey equipment (well, except for the sticks) Even managed to get a fridge in the car, going to school last year. (the border guard going into Canada was a bit miffed ... "You have a refrigerator ... in a Honda Civic? Have a nice day")

I drive a 96 Ford Taurus, but it's actually my parents'. I like the way it drives, but it's kind of huge, lol. Especially considering I'm so small...I have to have the seat up almost as far as it can go, and everyone who gets in is like "um, do you really need the seat up that far?"

But it's a better car than I had hoped for when I was getting my license! The biggest complaint I have is that it doesn't have a cd player.

I'd love to have a Ford Focus...I got to drive one when I was doing my in-cars last summer and I really liked it.

I got a 2003 red sport jeep wrangler on my 16th b-day but i learned on a stick shift 95' red plymoth neon. Here is a pic of me and my friend angie with my jeep

I have the newest Ford Escape. I like the fact that it's an SUV, but not a huge one. I don't have much knowledge about cars, but I like it lol

I've had my car for about 2 years now. Its a red 95 Honda Civic. Its a great car concidering its almost 10 years old. Its only got 65000K on it. Ive been planning to stick a couple 10s in the back when I get enough money for it... Which prolly won't be for a while...

1997 mitsubishi eclipse was my first car. I still drive it when it rains...but my main transport as of now is my 2004 cbr600rr

(dont have a pic of mine online, so this will have to do :p )

When I turned 16 (like 4 years ago) I got a 2000 sunfire conv. It was pretty nice to be able to cruise town with the top down in a brand new car when your only 16. I'm saving up now to buy an Escalade. ;)

I can't drive yet (14, so 2 more years for a permit here) but I know when I can drive my mom is going to give me her 2000 Honda Accord and she is going to get a new car at that point in time.

Nice. How much does insurance run you?

76' CJ-7 (Jeep) in Red.

im learning right now on a 2002 accord...got less than a year to go!
....

but im waiting to buy my dads '96 mustang cobra ...its black i love it so much but i have to learn on a differnt car for stick shift cuz its hard and my dad is afraid ill crash it ! hehe:o

My first car was a 97 Neon...tranny on that went...
Now I have a 94 Saturn...Seeing as how I'm putting myself through college, I really have no money to get a car any time soon. But I am slowly, but surely, saving for a Mustang GT Convertible. Not sure what year I want, but I know it must be black, and no older than a 95 (I prefer this body style to any other...Unless by the time I save, I can afford the 2005...drooooll....)
Depply, good luck with the cobra. That's one powerful car to have for a first! ;)
Stick isn't that bad, I think you're father might also be concerned with the reprocutions his engine might face with a new driver learning stick on a mustang! :crazy2: My boyfriend taught me on his truck, as he was afraid of what I might to do his precious 'stang!

I drove a 97 Chevy Malibu. It died a painful death in October when I was t-boned leaving school though. Dad's now looking for a replacement for me. We're leaning towards a small suv, since I'm a shorty and I really like the visibility in bigger stuff. LOL. I'll drive my dad's pick up anyday, and it's about the biggest they make, but I hate driving my mom's car, just because it's so much lower to the ground. I think my dad's leaning towards the Ford Explorer, or a small Toyota (rav-4) or Honda (CR-V) for me. 4 wheel drive is also a top priority for him, since the roads can get pretty nasty here from about October-April.

99 red mercury sable. It has a few dents in it as I seem to be a magnet for other cars to run into me, but its still a sufficient ride.

When I was 16, I got my DREAM car, a 2002 (it was brand new when I was 16) Volkswagen Beetle. :) I love my car! It's platinum gray right now, but this summer the people that I babysit for are paying to have it painted my favorite color - pink!!! :teeth:

my first car was a 96 ford taurus..was really my parents car..but then my bro was about to get his permit, and he used that..and i got a 2000 black cavalier..i love my car :)

i just got my license last april. so my first and current car is a green 1999 ford taurus. i like it, especially since i can make it do 110 on the expressway. :teeth:

Im to old to be here.....but in 1994 my first car was a 1969 green chevy malibu...

paint job was ok, interior was junk, but it could do 168mph on a straight away.......=)

my brother tinkered way to much but it was fun.
