Hi Guys,
we're now about 10 days away from our trip and it's all starting to feel very exciting!
I'm just wondering, what is (or are) everyone's favourite souvenirs?

Do you have that 1 particular thing you like to bring home, or do you have a collection of something in particular?

This is our first trip and includes a MHP night, so i'm looking forward to brining home some Halloween type souvenirs. We also like to collect Christmas tree decorations, so we can reminisce about our previous travels over the holiday period while our tree is up!

My little sister is mad about TNBC so i'm excited to bring her home the jack and sally dressed mickey and Minnie plushes I've seen!

Oh and a set of ears is definitely a must on my list!

:)

We like snow globes, ornaments, big coffee mugs, and license plate holders. I also bought a charm bracelet with classic charms that I loooove!

We like to get the coffee mugs(big n regular), Christmas tree decorations, T-shirt n Sweatshirts of course, and after we get home , we go through all our pictures and have our favorites placed on tea/coffee mugs with the dates included(Wal-Mart or Med-X). One other thing we do every trip, is to find n purchase special Disney gifts for family or friends, ie; mickey throws for the sister waiting to be a Grandma, for wrapping her first grand baby in(she loves it). For friends moving into their first house, Disney cooking/kitchen/house hold items(always a big hit for house warming gifts). Little things like these are always nice and for the most part, inexpensive.:cool1:

My favourite souvenirs... EVERYTHING :lmao:

I collect pressed pennies, pins, vinyls and plushies and then I usually get a hoodie of some sort as well.

Christmas tree ornaments are my favorite. Although we just returned from a trip to DLR and I came back with an ornament, scarf and necklace. Dd got a shirt, ears and fleece blanket. We brought back candy for friends and family.

For any vacation I like getting a Christmas ornament. My next favorites are tshirt/sweatshirts.
I loved the pins my kids collected and traded. We came home with pins that were their personalities!

We love coffee mugs, pins (my kids trade), Vinylmation, hats/visors, Dark Chocolate Rocky Road from the Candy Palace, homemade candy canes from the Candy Palace, character crayons in the kids' section at The World of Disney, plush toys.....basically everything. ;)

We always get a new Christmas ornament and DS always gets a new ear hat. Our last trip I bought two of these cups that are my absolute favourite!

My 12 yo DD collects Pins, Vinylmations, stuffed animals and anything Donald Duck in general
My 7 yo DS collects EVERYTHING!! (although he does love pins & stuffed animals too)
I always buy a Christmas ornament, no matter where I go anywhere in the world.
DH likes coffee mugs!!

My son gets the Matchbox, bus and plane with the year on it.. a t shirt or sweater , and new cap
I get a sweater, and fridge magnets, and key chain
My husband a T shirt and coffee mug, and cap

We get at least one Christmas ornament (more like 5;)) each trip, plus we like collect the plastic coffee mugs that can get at counter service restaurants and popcorn buckets. Our 3yo DS is starting to collect the pressed pennies.

I get salt n pepper shaker(s) every trip. They always have different ones as well as seasonal so I have quite a collection now. I have them on display in a glass cabinet so that we can see them and remember our great times from each trip.
My other favorite souvenir is the popcorn containers. I LOVE my Dumbo from last year. We always get the souvenir drink cups too and they get used all year long. We don't have any normal glasses in our cupboard, they are all Disney!

I usually get pins and a sweatshirt of sone sort...and then whatever catches my eye.

We try to collect a Christmas ornament anywhere we travel. Fortunately Disney has a great selection. Other places, we've turned a key chain or some other collectible into an ornament. :)

For me it's typically t shirts, large coffee mugs, popcorn buckets (even though they do take up alot of room in the suitcase) and lastly name art. I've got 4 name art, and it's become a tradition for me to get one done up when I'm down there. I frame them myself when I get home, and really enjoy looking at them.

My favorite souvenir so far is my Alice in Wonderland teacup and saucer. My daughter got me some bamboo coasters on our last trip and I love those too. I love having little Disney touches around the house, just things I can catch a glimpse of that make me smile. I think I'll get some earrings next month, and a scarf. I'll get my granddaughter whatever she wants because my Disney policy with her is that the answer is always yes. :)

I always buy a mug when I visit. I collect Disney mugs :-) I try to theme my Disneyland mug purchases to what is happening on our trip (favorite character or ride for the trip, Villains for Halloween ect...). We also try to get a new antenna topper when we go as we are trying to get one for every occasion!

So cool to hear what everyone loves collecting!
Because Disney is right at the start of our 32 day holiday, i'm just going to get everything I want/need and then send anything overly large or heavy back to aus through the postal service, so I can keep buying things throughout the rest of the trip!

I love the idea of mugs/tumblers as well as any little ornaments, we have an assortment of 'stuff' from previous holiday through Europe all around our house, and it just brings a smile to my face immediately!

I've been looking through the Disney online store as well which is building the excitement!!! I've got 1 party night and then the following day only, so I need to make them count!
