Your favourite Fantasmic or Parade meal

My friend and I are going to the Parks for my birthday in a month. We're planning on doing a special meal for either the Fantasmic show or the Parade. IIRC, the Halloween Parade has no 'meal' associated with it, right? Just Fantasmic? If so, keeping in mind we're on a bit of a budget and my friend is VERY picky, what viewing meal would you suggest? We're already going to have a special birthday meal at Carthay and we're going to do a Character Meal the next day. We have a reservation for our first night at Lamplight Lounge, and other than that we just want an event meal.

So... hit me with suggestions! Fantasmic or WOC dessert party?

Have you looked at the menus for the dining package meals? There is a package meal for the Halloween Party parade at BB, but, personally, I think that is a waste of good party time because it isn't hard to find good viewing for that parade (especially the second one). When you say your friend is "picky," what does that mean? DLR is really good about customizing dishes, so if she wants something on the menu, but doesn't want spicy or wants sauces on the side, for example, that can be done. Case in point: I like the salmon at BB, but don't like it spicy. The kitchen has no issue preparing the dish plain with fresh lemon, just as requested! As you may have already guessed, my favorite dining package meal right now is the BB F! meal (given that the WOC Dessert Party is on hold). But look over the menus with your friend and choose what looks like the best option. I think the dining packages are the best deal for F! viewing -- the reserved areas have the best view of the show, hands down, as long as sitting on the ground isn't a problem. PTN packages look fun (CCR especially if you were wanting to eat there anyway), but it isn't hard to get great viewing for that parade for free.

If WOC is open I would highly suggest the dessert party so much fun, great seat and yummy dessert without all the pushing and shoving. I also wouldn't waste party time at a Halloween dinner reservation. I've tried riverbelle terrace F dinner package and found it better just to get a fast pass. To me the food wasnt all that great. I agree with the lucky rabbit that you should read the Menu's and decide if the menu is something a picky eater would eat. I'm a picky eater so, I completely understand that. There are Menu's at allears.net that you can review first.

Thanks. We've looked at menus and we're going to try an early dinner at RBT. I've eaten there before and quite like it, so we'll go with that and aim for a free seat for PTN over in DCA.
