We watched Wishes last June right in front of the castle. Where is your favorite spot to watch Wishes?
:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Mickey bound in 24 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:  :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cloud9: :bounce:

in front of the castle is my fav, i wanna try the train station at main street though too and see how that is.

Yep! We always sit on that round circle thingy (hahah) around the statue of Mickey & Walt.. it's awesome.

I like to sit in the open seating area between Main St and Tomorrowland. It's the counter service seating for the now temporary closed Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace I believe. It gives you a great view, you're close to the action, and Tink flies right overhead. :wave2:

Last week we sat on the bridge from in fron of the castle to Tomorrowland. It was PERFECT, we actaull move from the street watching Spectromagi at 9, right over 15feet or so against the rail on the bridge. Tink also flew right over our heads. LOVED IT!!!!!

Our all time favorite is from Seven Seas Lagoon on the Wishes Cruise. Otherwise, we once saw it from outside Peter Pan in Fantasyland. I wouldn't recommend that for the first time you see it, but it was so cool! We could look up and see the fireworks as though they were flying over us. Otherwise, I agree. Mains street or in front of the castle. Beautiful!

My favorite spot is in front of Casey's on Main St. Not too close to the castle to block any of the fireworks, but plenty close to get all the effects!

We watched many times this week:
--from AstroOrbiter (accident:)) fun...but busy and spinny!
--From TomorrowLand near Stitch (worst Dis attraction ever, BTW)....OK< nice view of Tink
--from CA Grill...lovely!
--from our balcony at Contemporary...lovely, but no music
--from boat from Poly to MK...very nice!
--and the best, by far...last night in front of Casey's on Main Street!! If you ever stay at the CR, do this as many nights as you can as you can simply walk back to your resort after with no transportation stress! This is one of the best reasons to stay at CR!

:)

I like to have a front view of the castle with the fireworks going off behind it. When I was in WDW last summer, I saw Wishes right in front of the castle and it was simply awesome. No better view anywhere.

Walkway between the tip board and Crystal Palace. We were at the rail so no one could stand in front of us since there is a little ravine there.

Don't make the mistake of sitting RIGHT in front of the castle though. :( We did as a CM suggested & couldn't see very much of them, especially at the beginning. We watched from the Poly's beach last year & were amazed that they went up so high since our view had been obstructed before. We will be backing up a bit next week to get a better view with the castle.

DW and I enjoy camping out atop the train station for both spectromagic and Wishes. You get a great panoramic view of spectromagic trailing off towards the castle and then a really nice view of Main Street/Castle as the fireworks go off in the distance. Plus if you camp out early enough (we usually just waddle over from O'Hanas and sit for a few hours) you can get a seat. Pull it up right agains the railing and get to know your neighbors. We coupled this with an E-ride night (oh how we miss you E-ride nights) and it was one of the most magical disney nights we've had.

CG is great too. We don't worry about a window seat but go out on the balcony instead. Its great to see the fireworks at eye level. They pipe in the music too.

I'll second this!! It was an awesome spot last week for us! We actually entered MK about 15 minutes prior to Spectro, stood at the beginning of the parade and then proceeded to walk through empty shops to Casey's. We grabbed some hotdogs, went outside and snagged a spot for Wishes with no problem at all. Saw the end of Spectro again, too!

We filmed the whole show from what I think was a great vantage point.

It is along the rail (castle side of the walk) that cuts from the Tomorrowland bridge to the corner of Main Street at the ice cream shop. About half way down you can get a great clear shot of the castle. And since it is just a bit removed, you get the whole effect of the fireworks without the castle blocking them at all. And the walkway dips down just a bit so that there is more of a sense of the towering show over you.

Here is a still shot of the angle (a bit fuzzy since I had to shrink the size for the internet):
