Your favorite VALUE resort & why?

now to be honest I have never stayed in a value resort so have no opinion on the rooms. But having looked around them all I liked POP best due to its size not being massive and the food court is good. Thought it seem less manic then then the Allstar resorts.

Pop - it has a lake.

also like the food court, gift shop, arcade, swimming pools, and the CM's are some of the best

Pop is our favorite value.

Pop is clean, very clean.
The pools are nice
The food court is outstanding (lots of choices)
The store is large & well-stocked
All personnel are polite & smiling - they will always help
There is a great path along the lake with lots of trivia to read
The rooms are air conditioned
None of the rooms are far from the main building
The walkways are laid out well - you can find your way around easily
The icons are adorable - who can resist Mr & Mrs Potato Head?

Did I say Pop is clean? It's one of the cleanest resorts I have ever stayed at. We'll be at Pop on 3/31 - Can't wait!

I am another one for Pop!! They have a great foodcourt and the rooms are very clean!

POP for several reasons:
1. Friendly staff
2. great location to the parks
3. own bus service
4. food court its great!!!
5. The lake is so nice and it will be better when the Art of animation opens
I have personally stayed at Allstar sports, and music. Music was ok but I really did not like sports at all.

It can certainly be your favorite, but Pop is LARGER than the AS.

Without a doubt, Pop, for all the reasons said above. But I can't stress enough how great their food court is... It's my favorite, hands down.

My fave is ASMusic, though I do like Pop's food court best. But the chaos and noise level ---WOW! Also, I do not like wading through the gift shop to get to the food court.

ASMu has lovely theming and as it is the choice of most adults w/o kids, it tends to be more quiet. I have found the staff there to always be friendly and helpful. I've never had any issues with mousekeeping, etc. I'll be there again in 6 weeks!

Great rooms, nice pools, yummy selections at food court. Has its own bus (at least for now).

Our experiences at Pop were that of a huge crowded resort. Disney did nothing wrong to hurt our experiences but it just felt overwhelming. It was loud, crowded and busy.

Our fav resort is Movies, particularly the Mighty Ducks building. It is a bit quieter and removed from the rest of the resort and I feel like it is the last building to get filled although I have no evidence to support this. The pool has been relatively empty when we were there and the rooms are closer to the Music main building than most perfered rooms.

Another vote for POP!!!!! We have been to 3 of the 4 Values and when it came to pick one for Free Dining, we went with Pop again!!! Such a great vibe from that place!!!!

Hmm..I've actually stayed at a value resort, All Star Music, and I've never thought of it as being massive or manic

The value resorts are all similar in their amenities so I would choose the one that appeals to you most in terms of the theming and layout. I actually felt that All Star Music was on the quiet side and that it was a nice size resort, clean, beautifully landscaped, and the theming was whimsical and fun but not over the top. I honestly wouldn't mind staying at any of the value resorts as I am sure they are each clean, family friendly, and fun. Crowds and noise levels can be hit or miss at any resort. I can't comment on the size of the standard rooms because we stayed in a family suite at All Star Music which not only gave us more space, but also the advantage of being in a preferred building location so we were close to the main pool, food court, and bus stop.

I've been to the POP twice, and to CSR once. I was thinking about staying at the ASM resort this time to switch things up a bit. I think we're heading down either, mid November or December. The DH is fine with staying at the POP again,, but I guess I like to live on the edge

POP, but it's the only resort we've stayed at. I will say that we were extremely pleased with it, that we're most likely staying there again this fall.

I have stayed at all of the values and I can say from experiance, that the ALL STAR SPORTS is the best of them all, The food courts are almost the same at all of the values, there is no big differance in the food, at any of the values, the buses just seem to run faster for the sports, plus leaving MK, each allstars has there own bus, leaving from any of the other 3 parks, it's a shared bus but the sports is dropped off first, as for riding the bus's at any of the values, expect too stand, Way to crowded.
I found the pop very large with a lot of walking distance, The all stars you have to walk also some distance, just doesn't seem as far.

POP definitely. The rooms are clean, the food is great and we love the themes. My DD 14 loves POP as well and refuses to stay anywhere else.

That said, we were blown away by the resort - clean, impeccable service, and the family suite was, in our minds, a steal of a deal. We would not hesitate to book this again in a heartbeat. We were there at peak season and never did it feel "manic" to us.
