This will be our first time eating at Yachtsman Steakhouse, and although we have eaten at Le Cellier many times, we have never ordered steak there. So, I was wondering what everyone's favorite steak is at those two restaurants. What did you like and what did you not like, and why? There is no question of what I plan on ordering for appetizer and dessert at Le Cellier.....I never vary :), but I'd love to get feedback of your experiences with the steaks. Thanks so much.

We had the chateaubriand for 2 at yachtsman and it was AMAZING. That said, I'm planning to try the ribeye next time I'm there. Ribeye is my favorite cut of steak but it's very marbled (ie higher fat content) and I rarely have it, I generally go for very lean steaks (I tell myself it's healthier)... the ribeye is an indulgence but I'm ready for one ;).

At le cellier it's the mushroom filet all the way, but I'm a sucker for risotto.

I agree with Lisa, go with the ribeye it is the cut of steak for true steak lovers.

I am going to have to try the chateaubriand one of these days. When I was in college I worked at restaurant that served it with bernaisa sauce made fresh each day. Boy was that good.

I believe I had a filet of some sort at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Really though, the absolute #1 place for steak is Narcoossee's.

For me it is a filet mignon no matter which steakhouse we eat at. DH orders a NY strip everywhere except Le Cellier, he has to order the BBQ filet...his favorite

I'm subscribing too- seeing that it looks like my favorite Filet is missing from the Chefs de France menu and the Cali Grill menu too :( We're seriously re-thinking our ADRs. We're also booked at LeCellier and O'hana, but my men want to do the Steak tour of WDW-where else should we go besides Yachtsman?

Thx
Laren
