Your favorite dish at Brown Derby?.

Please tell me. Other than grapefruit cake I don't have any experience with this restaurant. A few years ago I learned from the Disboards about going to the café next door and ordering the grapefruit cake (off menu) and it was magnificent!
I made reservations at HBD for F! because it was the only restaurant left. I think it was the only one left because of the cost, but now that I'm going I think One must live a little right?
Anything you have an opinion on?

Cobb salad is a must! I wish there was something like it where I'm from at home. That as an appetizer with the filet and mashed potatoes would be my pick! Both were excellent.

The Cobb salad is really delicious. I split with DH as an appetizer but wished I got it as my entree. So good.

The Cobb salad is a classic, and deservedly popular. Their crab cakes are also a delicious appetizer, as is the cheese plate. I loved the crispy duck breast, and the venison osso bucco is also very tasty.

Cobb salad without the meat is just mush, by the way. In case anyone is curious to try it that way.

I usually get the duck. I must admit both times I ordered the grapefruit cake it was on the dry side. I was underwhelmed. Is it supposed to be that way?

I love the Cobb Salad & the margaritta flight. DH is a big fan of the pork chop. Neither of us were a fan of the grapefruit cake, which is strange as we love grapefruits!

Another person for the Cobb Salad. I usually get a cheese plate, Cobb Salad app. size, wine flight and grapefruit cake (which sometimes has to go back to my room for later). The dinner sized Cobb Salad is huge, I can't it by myself the app size is almost too large. I've had just about everything on their menu though and never had a bad meal.

we did the F! package at HBD last year and loved it so much we booked it again for this May. I've looked online and the menu is a bit different from last August. last time I had lamb (I think chops, maybe a rack. can't remember for sure, but I do remember it was delicious!). looking at the menu now, I might wind up with the venison osso bucco. when the fixed price menu is what it is, this meal will be my splurge for sure!

So, my husband loves Cobb salads. We finally got to try the one at Brown Derby and he was so disappointed. Really didn't care for it. The lounge serves sliders that are really yummy! We skipped the duck and just got 2 wagyu beef!

I love the pork chop as an entree. It tends to get mixed reviews, but I've always found it delicious.

We usually go and get the Cobb Salad and the rolls. I used to get the salad and the crab spring rolls but they discontinued them.

I've had the noodle bowl twice. It's good, and a ton of food.

My daughter had the filet in November and cleaned her plate.

We had the trio of mini desserts and weren't impressed with any of them, but it's a fun concept.

Cobb Salad is what we get when going for lunch and steak for me for dinner (I don't do seafood though).
DH loves the Osso Bucco or pork

Another vote for the duck here. Cobb salad too. This is one of our restaurants we visit every trip.

We had the trio last trip and I remember it being good, not mind blowing though. Do you think, with the fixed price of the F!, someone could order the cheese plate for dessert? I think I might enjoy that more than the trio.

The cheese plate is priced at $16. The dessert trio is $9. I think that should give you your answer.
