The menus at the Signatures do change seasonally, so some items may not be on the menu anymore. For my family that went to CA Grill in October:
Appetizer: Spicy Kazan Roll
Entree: Seared Hokkaido Scallops
Dessert: Chocolate Pudding Cake
We had the most amazing softehell crab appetizer at California grill last June. Definitely a seasonal item but we come from Maryland and are picky about our crabs. It was sensational. Also like the rock shrimp salad there.
Haven't been to the flying fish reboot and the menu is completely different. Will mis the potato wrapped snapper with leeks there...it was my go to dish.
The goat cheese ravioli at California Grill is amazing. I also enjoy their filet, but they change the sides seasonally. The version with tomato risotto and tomato butter is to die for.
I don't know if the 'signature dish' made it on the new menu - potato wrapped snapper at Flying Fish is/was a 'signature item' that I do not see on the online menu .
I don't often get entrees...I like to eat different things, so sorry if this is a lot of apps, if you enjoy doing an app and an app as an entree, its totally fine
CG - Dragon Roll, Tuna 3 ways, the bone marrow, any of the salads or their soups. I've been with lots of people that adore the filet and the pork. I usually don't like eating from others plates, but I have snuck some of the duck fat potatoes that go with a couple of the entrees, and they were just as yummy as you'd think.
FF - tuna app with the watermelon is excellent, so is the pork belly and the crab bisque. The scallop entree is one I have gotten several times, its that good.
FF:
appz: pork belly
Entree- I had the lobster with pasta and my husband had the bison- both AMAZING!!
Desert- we have 2, but while both were good- nothing outstanding
