Your favorite DCL photo?

I finally got my pictures developed from my March cruise on the Wonder. I'd like to share my favorite. It's of my wife, Patricia, on the top deck as we were strolling back to our room after a wonderful meal at Palo.

I haven't been yet, but I love the sillouette photo someone has on their posts of their two kids inside the big porthole. I plan to photograph my kids in there too!

My favorite picture is of me and Goofy, up on deck 9.
I was in line waiting for Goofy and they started to leave. I asked the CM if I could have my picture taken with Goofy and Goofy turned, put his arm around me and we leaned against the railing and did a Rumba dance move, with our arms in front of us. Cheek to Cheek. It's my favorite.

I have a TON of favorite pictures from our trip, but I do love this one too. My DD thought the portholes were windowseats and sat in them every chance she got!

This was last years cruise. It was on the formal night. I don't know what it is about the photo, but I really like it! Nothing like getting a kiss from Minnie!

masonpips... I have also adored the photo you posted, of the 2 in the porthole (the one at the bottom..)!!! It is great! Did you turn your flash off to take it?

No to the flash - I think it was because it was so bright and sunny outside. I was actually disappointed in it at first because I couldn't see the kids, but I left it on the camera (digital) and when I got home and uploaded it, I loved it! Teaches you not to be too hasty with that "delete" button LOL!

Masonpips, I like that photo alot. Nice job!

You're right about why it came out the way it came out... the camera's meter exposed to the light level outside the window, so the kids were underexposed creating the effect.

Favorite photo - I suddenly developed a rash (hives) on our Castaway Cay day after about an hour ashore so I went back tot he ship for a shower and benedryl. I then decided to go up to deck 10 for a look see and found it totally deserted (for obvious reasons) but it made for some amazing shots of the smokestacks and deck with NO people anywhere. Several people have accused me of putting postcards in my album so I have to pull out the Kodak CD and the negatives and show them


Note to Masonpips -The prince and princess photos are GREAT!! Look like potential contest winners to me.

THe black and white photos are cool too. I may have to take a roll with me next time. I wonder if I can just print the color ones in black in white. May have to try that too.

Masonpips - I am also an admirer of your b&w porthole shot....it's those "mistakes" that almost always turn out the best....

As with mine - it's grainy and too yellow (under exposed, no flash; I didn't want to lose the lighting from below), but for some reason - I absolutely adore this shot....DS was enthralled with watching the elevators as well as the lights on the floor surrounding them....took this on our way to Parrot Cay....
