If you had to choose between Chef Mickey's, Cape May or Tusker House for breakfast what would your choice be? I am already planning on Crystal Palace but would like another breakfast.

Our favorite is the Crystal Palace - but you're already going there! Our second choice would be Chef Mickey's. It's alot of fun and you get to see Mickey and Donald!!! Cape May Cafe is fine .....if you've already done the other two.....the food is good but doesn't have the same "atmosphere" as the others. My least favorite is Tusker House - we didn't think it had a good selection of food.

So far my favorite is Chef Mickey, and Crystal Palace. We are trying Tusker House next trip...but I hear good things about it on here.

Tusker House but have you tried 1900 Park Fare or O'Hana's they are delicious

I LOVE O'Hana's for supper... is the breakfast that good, too? I don't know if my two boys would enjoy the "atmosphere" of 1900.

I love Cape May but I think that Chef Mickeys has a much better selection on food, love that breakfast pizza and krispie cream donuts, rice krispie treats and brownies for breakfast? That is a hit!

Done them all, Tusker House is by far our favorite. Great Character interaction. Standard fresh breakfast foods on the buffet with a few African ones thrown in. Love it!
Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Gooffy, what a fun bunch!

I've done all of the character breakfasts, now that I've tried Cape May last week.

I'd go with Chef Mickey's, all things being equal. However, if breakfast at AK fits into your plans better or if you have a real Daisy Duck fan in the bunch, you can't go wrong with Tusker House.

O'hana's breakfast is family style (not buffet). They will bring you large portions of standard items (scrambled eggs, mickey waffles etc) and will refill whatever you'd like more of.

1900 is actually a very good buffet breakfast. My son is 9 and doesn't mind going there at all. Of course he doesn't like to talk to Mary Poppins but the Mad Hatter and Alice are hilarious!

I would say Chef Mickey's and then the Cape May Cafe(we are doing both this trip, plus the Crystal Palace. Gotta love free dining).:thumbsup2

I too have boys (8 and 6 at the time) who were less than thrilled with our princess lunch at the castle. However, O'hana's breakfast was their favorite of the week!! It's the only place they've insisted we go back to. Stitch is all "boy" himself, picking his nose and flicking it, and then pushing Pluto all around the restaurant in a chair on wheels while Pluto covered his eyes! It was hilarious to our boys! They seemed to take much longer at the tables too then any of the other character meals we went to and being able to stay seated while they brought your meal to your table (family style) made it very relaxing. With little boys, you can't go wrong with O'hana's character breakfast! :stitch2:
