We've going back to Disney World at the end of April and I wanted to get your opinions on the best places to eat. We're two adults (my best friend and I) and we'd like to do one or two character meals, plus one or two non-character options.

In 2006 we had character meals at CP, CRT, Chef Mickeys and Epcot's Castle. We also ate at Hollywood and Vine and the Sci-Fi Cafe. We liked all of them but were looking for some other options two. Last Sept I went to Disneyland with a different friend and we ate at the Blue Bayou, which was also nice.

This year we're staying at the Port Orleans FQ for 14 nights and AK Lodge for 2 nights.

We were tempted by Stitch or Artiste's Point. Anyone got any ideas? You guys are always the ones who know best.

Thanks x

PS...I'm a fussy eater...I don't like things TOOOOOO fancy! :-( And any suggestions for SeaWorld or Universal while I'm at it?

Let's see....as far as character meals go, if you're looking to do one that you haven't done before, Liberty Tree Tavern is fun. The food is good (if you like traditional style Thanksgiving) The characters are Pluto, Goofy, Minnie, Chip & Dale. I think the character interaction here is great!

For non character meals, how about Kona Cafe? I love, love, love this place. Not too fancy and the desserts are to die for. Also, what about some of the World Showcase restaurants? We've particularly fond of LeCellier, Rose and Crown, and Beirgarten. We've never eaten at San Angel, but I've heard good things about it.

There are so many options to choose from. DH and I have never really had a meal that made us say that we'd never go back.

Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree Tavern for good food and characters. Ohana dinner for a excellent dinner..

Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club for a character breakfast is great! It has a relaxed atmosphere, great food and great character interaction. We go every trip, going in 2 weeks!

Love the Crystal Palace Character Meal -- Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet

California Grill
Jiko
Chef de France
Le Cellier
Spoodles
Boma.

These are our favorite places to eat at. Since your staying at AKL you should give Boma or Jiko a try.
