Your Experience With "The Official Ticket Center?"

Has anyone ever purchased their park tickets through The Official Ticket Center -- http://www.officialticketcenter.com?

What are your experiences? I know that they are a sponsor of the DIS, but I think I'd feel more comfortable purchasing from them if I heard of your experiences.

Are the only options for receiving the tickets (1) $5=deliver to hotel; (2) $0=self-pickup; (3) $10 & $16 FedEx?

I didn't buy my park passes through them. However, I did buy my DQ tickets through them. I definately saved money on the DQ tickets. I spoke with Dave who was very friendly and polite. I had no trouble with the transaction and the tickets worked as advertized.

There was only one negative point. I picked the option where they deliver the tickets to your hotel. I was told that this would be pretty quick since we were staying at POR which is close to DTD. He said that it would take about 15 minutes. We were going to go straight to DQ that afternoon. So, we couldn't leave until the tickets arrived. To make this story short, we ended up waiting about an hour for the tickets. They arrived just in time for us to run down and catch the boat to DTD.

My experience with them was good overall. However, next time I wouldn't plan on needing the tickets delivered that day.

I purchased my 7 day plus hopper passes through them in Jan. and I was very nervous. I chose the $10 delivery fee (what's another $10?) and they arrived within a few days, FedEx 2nd day priority. You have to sign for the delivery. They also sent two e-mails keeping me updated on the order status. I saved a bunch of money, and when I got to the parks, everything worked as it should.

We got our PHP (5 day) from them for my December trip. I used the $10 Fed Ex option and they arrived within week. I did NOT have to sign for them. They were in the white fed ex package on my door step when I got home from work one day.

I used the online form off the internet.

I would use them again.

I am thinking of definitely purchasing DQ tickets through them. Even with a DVC discount, this place is less expensive. I'm also going back and forth on hubby's pass.

If we check into BCV on the 23rd of May, we would then request a May 23rd delivery? Do they give an approximate time of delivery or is it a guessing game?

They ask you to call when you arrive. They will then come out and meet you in the lobby of your resort. Don't forget, you can also go by and pick them up on your way into WDW.

How much did they charge for DQ adult tickets? I'm currently without a phone (long story) so I can't call.

www.ticketmania.com seems to be a better deal when you consider free shipping. It would depend on how many tickets you are buying. The ticket center is $1 cheaper on 4 day PHP passes but you'd have to buy ten of them to make up for the $10 shipping charge.
