Your Disney PhotoPass Photos are about to expire!

TL;DR - Does this mean I really DO have photos that I haven't viewed or is this just general spam because I took a trip last month and they're just ASSUMING I took photos?

I've been getting this email for the past few weeks. Had a family trip this last June with magicbands but AFAIK the only photo that was officially taken of any of us was from a trip last August at CRT (and they never scanned the bands for that photo but gave us an ID which I never entered...)

We rode a few rides so I'm thinking maybe they're ride photos?

But when I click on the link to check out my photopass photos it says there's nothing there and perhaps I should link my magicband or photopass ID.

Linking the magicband from the trip just throws up an error saying that band is already linked and the photopass ID I have from the CRT photo (from the back of the photo) is invalid.

I remember reading an announcement "a while back" (sometime in the past 2 months) that they had installed sensors to scan MB's on some of the rides. I would guess that those are the pictures. But I do not know why it is not linking your MB to the PhotoPass website. Were you the lead person on the reservation, maybe?

I'm showing no photos listed and I've got all the magicbands linked to my account via friends and family. It's just weird

This is true. We were there last week, and we had memory maker. The rides that take pictures automatically scan your band and add it to your account. You no longer need to wait in the line with the photo number off the screen. It worked flawlessly!

Oh I agree that's probably what it is... I just can't figure out how to get 'em to appear as photopass says I have all my magicbands linked but have no pictures but the email says I do!!

If you don't have memory maker, the ride photos won't show up on the web site. You need memory maker and magic bands for them to appear.
