My mom will be making our typical Thanksgiving dinner - turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. It's my favorite meal ever (I think she feels guilty for not putting up a tree this year), plus my mom is a sad she was unable to have any leftovers since my grandmother was in the hospital during Thanksgiving. We're weird, what can I say? :)

Yep. I'm ordering from La Madeleine. We did it several years ago and just loved it...and I spent so little time cooking and cleaning that it really added to the day's enjoyment.

Today we fixed white chocolate dipped pretzels, fudge, and will be making peppermint patties and cheesecake.

Sorry can't help you out...

We are going out to eat...

Inlaws coming in around 3pm and I dont feel like cooking. We may go to the Hard Rock Hotel, or maybe Ruby Tuesday, if they are open.

I was going to have something other than turkey for the first time ever, but changed my mind at the last minute.

We're having: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, yams, corn, and cranberry sauce. For dessert we are having pumpkin pie and chocolate creme pie. I usually make a few more things, but I want to keep it simple.

The kids have been begging for BBQ for Christmas since we didn't do that on Thanksgiving (we surprised them and flew to Disney that day instead and had dinner at Hollywood & Vine courtesy of a fab DISer that gave us her ressie!).

Our menu will consist of:

BBQ Shredded Pork with Bessinger's mustard based BBQ sauce (Charleston, SC local favorite)
Red rice
Fresh green beans (DD10's fave)
Homemade mashed potatoes

For dessert we will have homemade pumpkin pie and homemade holiday cookies.

Slow cooker roast beef
Ham
Mashed potatoes (red skin potatoes, skin on, not peeling potatoes Christmas day)
Green Salad
Red hot salad
Pistachio salad
Rolls
Cookie tray

Basically everything that takes under 15 min to prep or that I can make ahead. Never want to spend time making stuff on Christmas Day.
