Your Breakfast Buffet Opinions Please

We have done breakfast at Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, and Tusker House. The only one I would not reapeat is Chef Mickey's.

We've eaten breakfast at Tusker House, Crystal Palace and Cape May and TH was everyone's favorite. CP was good too and we found Cape May just average.

We like Boma breakfast buffet, Tusker House breakfast, 1900 Park Fare breakfast and Cape may breakfast. We were suppose to go to CP breakfast but I got sick but I want to try CP another time (we have always gone to CP for lunch and had good meals)

We love Tusker House Breakfast -- I like the characters in a different costume (Safari) and the food is very good. Although, you can usually see the same characters at Camp Minnie-Mickey. We like getting the 8am reservation so we enter the park before it opens at 9am (sometimes opens earlier, though).

I did like Ohana with Lilo and Stitch breakfast in 2009 but I'm irritated about Ohana's dinner check in problems.... but, Stitch is cool... and it's nice to have breakfast family style instead of buffet so you don't have to worry about missing characters while getting your food. The breakfast breads there were yummy!

Crystal Palace - don't do breakfast because they have a character lunch and we prefer that. Lunch is nice... delicious cold salads, carved meats, salmon all good. I'd rather spend my morning doing rides in MK since it's not as busy in mornings.

1900 Park Fare was nice... food was very good... and Mary Poppins and the Mad Hatter are not always easy to find in the parks. That's a plus.

Cape May Cafe's breakfast was pretty good. Characters were great, food and service excellent. I wish I had my dining reviews with pics for you but I'm not done yet.... It's a little out of the way but we wanted to go there anyway to see the Christmas decorations.

Had reservations for Chef Mickey each of our past 2 trips but canceled both... ended up not being convenient with our plans... was scheduled for near our last day and we already saw those characters several times by then....

This most recent trip, we had a great experience at Garden Grill Dinner. This will be a must do again next trip. Characters were fun, not rushed at all, and food was very good... plus I like family style serving... buffets get on my nerves....

While Chef Mickey's will be convenient for you, I just don't think it's worth it. We really did not like it at all. Tusker House is my favorite with Crystal Palace running a close second.

We had a really good meal at CP last month. I did not have high hopes but it was really excellent. Everything we had was hot and fresh. I also loved the made to order eggs and omlettes. I would go back.

I am in no hurry to return to Chef Mickey's or Hollywood and Vine.

We have also had really good meals at Tusker House and Cape May.

We have done them all except Tusker House

1900 PF was horrible, too loud, terrible service and terrible food

Boma, very good

Cape May is the best, the food is excellent and the character interaction is great

Crystal Palace, another excellent place...Chef Mickeys was to die for, prefer it over CP

Ohana was great, the food was delish and the characters are a lot of fun but they place can get noisy and hectic

Princess in Norway breakfast was great, our nieces had a blast and the food was very good

thanks for sharing your feedback. I forgot to mention that we will be staying at BLT and CM will be hard to bypass but based on what I am hearing its probably gets the "last place" vote.

Since you're at BLT, I'd go. The only reason we didn't go is we changed park plans so not going to MK when we had the breakfast ADR at Chef Mickey's.

We liked all the character meals on the monorail circuit... 1900 Park Fare (lunch and dinner), Ohana breakfast.

But our all time favorite character meals are now Hollywood and Vine Breakfast because kids can dance with the characters.....(and it's hard to mess up breakfast food...), and Garden Grill Dinner.

We have been to all the character meals except Chef Mickey, Akershus, and Cinderella's Round Table... no girls...

Of those 4, 1900 Park Fare had great character interaction between Mad Hatter and Alice. The two came to our table together and were funny. Chef Mickey and Ohana were OK, although I prefer Ohana breakfast. Since CP is in MK, I think it has a different rank as you do not have to leave the theme park to eat breakfast, or can get there before the park opens.

One I didn't see mentionned was the Trail's End breakfast at FW. It is a boatride over from CR, which was very enjoyable in the morning. The food was fresh and hot. The service was good. There are no characters there. And, it was one of the cheaper breakfasts at WDW.
