"mud puddles"
Use chocolate chip cookie dough (homemade or store bought), bake in mini muffin pan with liners. As soon as they come out of the oven, press a mini peanut butter cup in the center. Make sure you unwrap while the cookies are baking because they need to go in right away. Cool before removing from pan. Always a hit...how can you go wrong with choc chip cookies and peanut butter cups. Hope this helps
Rice Krispie treats - they sell out everytime! I take a 13X9 pan and make two batches of rice krispie treats so that they are super thick. I've also sprinkled sprinkles on top or you can drizzle melted chocolate too.
Get pretzel rods, dip them in melted chocolate, and put sprinkles or mini chocolate chips on top, or melt white chocolate and put in ziploc bag, cut off one small corner, and drizzle on the top. Put two or three in a bag. Easy and tasty!
We always sell the brownies and chocolate chip cookies first. Thus, they are the best for a fund raiser. Things like pizelles never sell and end up being grouped in grab bags at the end-so don't put in the extra work. Also, do not bring prebaked anything-cept maybe cupcakes. Lemon bars are always a hit.
For brownies, I put a piece of parchment in the bottom that goes up and out at two ends. I really grease the ends without parchment and voila...you can pull the whole batch out and cut them all without breakage.
I made Mickey cupcakes for our school's Disney themed variety show. They were a huge hit and I was told they sold out in no time. I was requested to please make more for the cast party a week later.
I used vanilla frosting on the cupcakes and 1 reg. Oreo for the head and 2 mini Oreos for ears. DD had fun icing and sticking on the Mickeys.
Rice Krispie Treats! I always do these for bake sales and class parties, and they are always swiped up. I drizzle them with cookie icing and put them in individual treat bags that coordinate with whatever holiday/celebration there is going on.
I like to bake, but when it comes to large quantity, nothing beats how quick and easy RKT are to do.
